Ancient Fairy Dragon was limited to 1 because its obtainable with box chips now, technically making it a free card. Regardless, despite this skill being broken I'm oddly excited to see just how many decks are able to abuse this before it gets nerfed(IF it gets nerfed)

I'm so glad you mentioned this because a lot of people including me almost burned a dreamticket on it and didn't check if it was available with the box chips!

How has ancient fairy dragon become relevant? I quit playing for like a month and now ancient fairy dragon is getting limited?

@@Prosper_Dean it was being used in agents and I think a couple of other decks to get Summon Breaker onto the field turn 1 for free

Fun fact: For f2p players who struggle to not have enough copies of Sauge de Fleur, don't worry. You can also play other Spelcasters like Nekroz of Valkyrus (2 - 3 copies) for End Battle Phase and is a Level 8 Spelcaster for Trade In. Have at it

There is a normal monster as well called cosmo queen.. so you could use that and play successor soul

Unfortunately no. The spellcasters must be dark so valk won’t work. Cosmo queen is a good f2p replacement tho

Im on a 14 win streak from plat 3 to 7, havent played to get to legend yet, using Zombies with doomlord. And I didnt even try to focus on synchros that much, only Berserker. That and Dingirsu sometimes its enough. Since im playing with Cosmo Queen, I added 2 succesor soul that i have (i dont like BE) Im not playing any backrow removal apart from Phoenix or Unicorn, triple Trade in. Its amazing.

AFD is a mini* box UR and obtainable with box chips or 50% off gems during those events. Being limited is a little surprising but not that surprising

When I do this combo exactly, I try to link summon the evil eyes card and it's not allowing me to use both my evil eyes cards it's making me use my harpie lady as on of the links, why is it doing this, I don't fully understand link summoning, can U or anyone help

AFD is in a mini box not in a main box and is available at the card trader with box chips, being completely f2p, so it isn't suprising they limit it to 1

Ancient Fairy Dragon continues it’s presence as the Signer Dragon that gets limited due to it’s non-future proofed Effect, not back enough to be forced to have an errata, and the only 5Ds Signer deck that doesn’t get Legacy support

One card that I have found very useful is Ruddy Rose dragon. Especially on turn 2 when I do not draw any Evil eye cards and my opponent has a ton of cards in the graveyard for their next turn.
