I really like the synergy these two archetypes have. I did unfortunately spot a mistake though. The effect of Basiltrice to use the equip card as link material can only be used during your opponents turn. You are able to make a Gorgon instead of the Zerziell, so not a lot will change

I bought on cardmarket the deck today, because i love Evil Eye and unchained. It really hurts that the Prision of the unchained cost almost 10€ per piece. I bought cards together with my friends. And already see myself. First Turn. Nice combos. Big and strong Field.... No dark ruler anymore for you my friend.

Would more Unchained cards, Tour Guide or the D/D/D package work well in this deck

More unchained is possible, DDD could be fun but that or tour guide use the normal that you ideally want to use on serzial

@zephyrwargamesyugioh True was just thinking of Basiltrice and Basilius for Tour Guide because then they can special from the GY, but wasting the normal would not be ideal

First board is worse then what evil eye can do by itself which is make 4 interruptions on one card i dont see why anyone would do that instead. Second board is impossible due to not reading and still worse then what evil eye does by itself with one card. Third was wrong too and would be stupid to turn serziel into zerziel during your turn anyways

OK so what's the evil eye 1 card, 4 interruption combo? The 2nd and 3rd combo is my mistake you just make Gorgon instead of Zerzial

@@zephyrwargamesyugioh ending on serziel+d/d/d with unleashed still in grave is 4 interruptions and if you have retribution that's 5 interruptions

combo #2 & #3, the effect of basiltrice for link summon whit equis is in oponent turn not in your turn. Are you just learning how to use evil eye?

Was combos me and a friend worked on you can just end your turn short or go into the link 2 instead

@@zephyrwargamesyugioh because they worked badly. basiltrice effect 2 is a quick effect that allows you to use equipment as bond material. but you can only do this on the opponent's turn and it is an activated effect not a continuous effect. which is why all your combos from #2 are wrong.

@hikariyuukara7284 yeah so it's a easy fix, you just go 1 link less and save Basiltrice for next turn. We made a mistake, it happens.
