Evil Following v3 | Bike Build | MTB

In this first installment of, Crooked Shed Builds we build a 2020 Evil Following v3 mountain bike. Complete with i9 wheels, tan wall tires, and a 12 speed Sram-mano drivetrain, this bike is a bit of a unicorn.

For the camera nerds:
This video was shot with a RED #KOMODO 6k camera with Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L, 24-70 f/2.8L, and 35mm T/1.5 cinema lenses. All shots were captured in 23.976fps, ISO 800, and a wide open aperture. Additional lighting provided by Aputure's 300x LED. However, the majority of the shots were taken with ambient/existing light.

4:05 what tool is that , 5:24 what is that you put in the handlebar ?

At 4:05 it’s a park tool piston press. At 5:24, that’s actually not a tool, but just the bar end.

Any comments on Level ult. vs Code rsc brakes? Power and modulation worth the cost of weight in your eyes?

Awesome build. Is that a 2.6 DHR in the rear? Any clearance issues? I'm building a Following and competitive cyclist says there is. I figure you would know best. Thank you!

Hey Jamie! It's actually a 2.6 rekon. It clears just fine, but I had a couple sloppy late season rides and it took a bit of paint off the chainstay bridge, so I swapped it for a 2.4 dissector which clears great. I'll probably use the 2.6 for fair weather rides though.
