They didn't suck as far as play. They sucked because they didn't play the game correctly. Crim and scump still think just by out slaying an opponent you can win and didn't hold objectives as well as other teams causing many losses. It suck but be looking for it again in BO4 as well unless they learn to work as team instead of just wanting to run around the map and slay

Alex Hwaney octane is like the new karma trying to hold objectives as tho other three try to slay. If they haven't figured out to put three guys on objectives and one as back up there's know way to win. Teams like tk and rise watch there play and positioning. They have three guys in the hard point then push out and hold lanes to stop advances and will swing one to two other guys if a someone is killed. That's how they win. Scump and Crim maybe half way across the map and the. Shot in the back because an open lane. I'm not sure they really understand and I thought with octane and methodz coming in they would pick up on it but not sure if it's just ego or what but it's not connecting. Then hear them say well if I won this gun fight and this one then we would have won. You aren't going to win every single one so you need back up plans they don't have.

I love scumps yt channel, but they deserve this for dropping a player like Karma. The dude knows what it takes to win, from his BO2 crack shots, to ridiculous 1v3 clutches in ghosts against optic, to his playbooks in IW. Karma and teepee both pointed out they would challenge individually more than do a team push which costed them good spawns or opportunities. They can compete with the best still but they made the same mistakes again.

DeathGrinder B they’ve tried different strategies but they still don’t wait for teammates to help push to break the opponent’s setup. It doesn’t matter if it’s a twitch shooter. If you have two players with two different angles looking at an opponent, the chances of them getting both kills is very low. Positioning and calling out are more valuable than reaction time.

For anyone questioning why OpTic got eliminated even though they beat Elevate. It's not straight up head-to-head, because that would simply lead to a paradox. OpTic beat Elevate, yes. But Elevate beat EG. And EG also beat OpTic. So it's just a circle, they all beat each other. That's why they use the map count between all three tied teams. Which points to OpTic being eliminated.

To be honest, people keep putting Scump down because he hasn’t been performing at the level necessary for the team to be successful; which I can completely understand. However, we all know what Scump is capable of and you can just tell he doesn’t enjoy WWII like he has for previous Cods. It’s hard to play the game and be the best when the competition is so tight and you don’t truly love the game you’re playing. I don’t believe Scump will retire. If he loves BO4 as much as he’s loved previous Cods, he will be back. They’ve been putting on a show for you guys for SO MANY YEARS and they have one bad year and you all turn your heads. The problem is complacency. Optic think they’re the best and they’re just going to walk in and win every single game with no problem. Whereas other teams who are playing against optic are determined to win and are playing their guts out. They have no real leader. Scump was only put as captain because of seniority and I’m not down talking him. He was at one point one of the best players. But he is not a leader. Perfect example of a leader (even though LG are clashing heads as a team) is Jkap. I’m a GreenWall fan without a doubt but I know I’m not the only one who saw them not winning champs from a mile away...

Scump is bad in this game because he doesn’t enjoy it, he’s said himself “I don’t play pubs or ranked in ww2 as much as I did in other cod’s” if he’s not playing the game as frequently as everyone else he’s not gonna understand the way the map plays and how he should play. I gotta say, seeing all the hate for OG is a bit overblown. It was clearly evident right from the beginning of ww2 that it wasn't their game. They never looked comfortable, and to be fair ww2 made a ton of drastic changes that were very different from previous cods (sprint out times being one of the biggest issues that nearly the entire community complained about). I had a tough time adjusting to the new style of play because this cod is the slowest pace game we've had in years where camping and holding power positions is far more rewarding than aggressive slay heavy styles. So yes, OG definitely struggled with this cod and that is incredibly frustrating and caused tension between the guys. I can't say I fully agree/understand letting go of karma, but none of us actually know the full team dynamic/relationships that may have caused issues. Octane and methodz are phenomenal players and there's absolutely no reason to give the guys hate. Just throwing in great players to a team doesn't instantly work out (most of the time), but it takes time to grow synergy and learn how to play more as a team. Crim, scump, formal, and karma have been playing together for years. You can't expect a roster change to instantly work. I can give countless examples of many teams from many sports where superstars team up and it took time to show true success. OG has been so dominant in the cwl and that whole crew is/will always be considered one of the best teams in cod mlg period end of story. Any team can have bad years. Look at tons of these other top tier teams that had horrible years in previous cods. But none of them get the same level of hate. All that shit talk about OG just shows how good they actually are and people who aren't fans hate seeing them win. Lastly, scump is still one of the best players in the world. This cod definitely shook his confidence and he had a bad year. Let the man have a bad year, but don't hate on the guy. He is and always will be one of the best cod players of all time. No need for negativity. Are there better players currently for ww2? Sure absolutely. But don't rip on the guy for having a bad year. Give credit where credit is due - well played by EG, they showed up and won dominantly. Give them credit for performing well and move on and stop hating on OG. There's a reason these guys are pros and none of you are, so no one has the right to say any one of these players is garbage. The best players and teams always receive the most hate. Look at LeBron, Tom Brady and the pats, OG and scump. Quit hating and enjoy the great games these guys/teams put so much time and effort towards to entertain us
