That is true. However, you don't know what he was going through. Maybe he was suffering depression or was alone, and chose a girl without thinking of it too much. When you're in that state, you don't think if she's a girl for you or not. He probably then realized later she wasn't the girl for him. He couldn't have possibly knew back then that he would regret the decision. So i say that it's not his fault. How do i know? Because i did the exact same thing. Why everyone is praising Stacy, ignoring Kevin's Mistake and dismissing Karla's pain is something not easy to understand.... for starters, Karla ain't evil, at least she didn't start off as such. Kevin created the monster in her. i mean... if you haven't closed the previous chapter, why go opening the next? and that's where most people make mistakes. in a rush to fill the void, they ignore the fact that they need to take time to heal and in doing so they hurt others. in Kevin's case, he should have not rushed to be with Karla if he wasn't sure of his feelings towards her and Stacy. if people sat to think of the pros and cons, the we will have less negative effect on those around us, and those who loved us blindly. Karla's desperation to get Kevin back is something that can be avoided, if and only if the Kevins can be more mature to handle their own mental issues.
