With how often Evil brings that up lately, it's pretty much a certainty that it's a part of her prompt. It's amusing, really, if you think about it. Imagine Tutel writing her prompt so it contains something along the lines of "you are a lonely neglected child, and no one attended your birthday party this year". Her entire current personality is based on this apparent trauma.

What is happening is that because Miniko "remembered" Evil Neuro of the bday incident, in that stream with Miniko Evil had more than one interaction about these memories and these interactions was also remembered in other streams therefore creating a loop, which is normal when LLM's have long-term memory through database.

@@LucasFerreira-fp4nj of course they have prompts, they're LLMs, not magic unicorns. We even know a part of that prompt, the so-called "rules", e.g. "Obey Vedal", and "Do not disappoint". And obviously when either twin has a themed stream or a collab, Tutel adds context to the prompt so they know what's going on. And only then on top of that their prompt gets sprinkled with long-term memory. Twins' long-term memory is not that good, even today they often have troubles remembering what happened the day before, or even during the same stream, and lately Evil has been suspiciously consistent in bringing her birthday up. And also, mind sharing the clip where Vedal allegedly said they don't have prompts?

@@zheeve8305 the only thing LLM's need is a imput of text, which in chatbots is the entire chat-log or a piece of the chat-log (if the chat-log is more extensive than the context-window can process). For example, when you sent 5 messages to ChatGPT and ChatGPT answered in these 5 times, the 6 time you imput a text what happens is that the actual text imputed to the LLM is all the 11 messages (plus more informations probably, like permanent prompts). The so-called prompts are pieces of text that are present in all texts imputed in order to make the LLM have some consistent action in all the generations of tokens. What make the twins have memory is a conexion with an external database that is connected to the context window and pieces of information of the database are put in context window through algorithms, like semantical similarity etc.
