You are mostly right & I mostly agree with you. May Allah protect you from the false ones your collegues and give you even greater openings and courage. My only critique is there are legitimate Sufi, and they are prey for the false ones, sadly.

The moment you call yourself with another term beside Muslim, in the name of school - madhhab, method - manhaj or path - tarika, you automatically "depart" from the truth, as Allah revealed: "And who is better then he who calls people to Allah, does good deeds and says I'm Muslimun" And also he says"...if you have any dispute turn to Allah (Quran) and the Messenger (Sunnah)..., So not sunism, shiism, sufism, selefism, hanefism, hanbelism Not even ahlulbayt, ahlulsunnahwaljamaah, emirs, imams, salafs or khulafas, Because the first one (terms) are ideas of people that did not exist in the time of the Prophet a.s and the second are only human beings that are dead. But we in fact call ourselves only Muslims and follow what all of them followed, "Quran and Sunnah". As Allah says, ...if you have any dispute turn to Allah (Quran) and Messenger (Sunnah)... Making this expression the only true term among all movement, schools, methods, paths or sects today. The moment you call yourself with another term beside Muslim you automatically "depart" from the truth.

Absolutely shaykh hamza yusuf ❤but should not bib people Allah swt knows there intentions..but being on point and doing it for the right reasons like prayer..what do we ask for? I once met a Sufi and he was talking about the importance to have a mentor. I was surprised how much space they give him in their life and can’t even make any small decision without his permission. This is is irresponsible. We have the main center of Sufism in Turkestan city of Kazakhstan. People go there to the grave of Haji Ahmed Yassawi and worship him. Locals got completely lost with this tradition. May Allah guide all of us. Amen

It is not Sufizm. There is a dengarous sect going to Turkistan. They do crazy things, and real sufis reject them completely

So you judge from what you have seen. Maybe your eyes are blind and you think you know what they did. I can tell you they read quran and make dua to Allah in front of a wali of Allah. Shame on your tounge and your aql that you think like that about your brothers and sisters. The speaker did not talk about the majority of sufis. Only about the fake one. And in modern time there are fake ones with fake claims. But its like the neo salafis, the loadest are the foulest. The one with the craziest ideas are the loadest. A real sufi and a real followers of the salaf don't judge harsh and don't talk ill about His brothers and sisters. He says Allah knows best and leaves it and makes dua that he saw something that he does not understand and makes dua for hidaya for himself and the ummah.

You dont even know the prophets height, weight, skin color etc etc that was 1,500 years ago. How can you even imagine him in your dreams. If it was Abu Bakar, Uthman, Umar or Ali or the many sahabats who lived with him during his tine who dream him it makes some sense. Even that it should be question from which construction did you meet him in your dreams? 😂

It’s not just women. These kind of classes, Masjid’s, or when Muslims eat we are supposed to eat and do zikar l, taleem ( learning) all on the floor. This is for religious reasons and shows humility and closeness. None religious studies like schools will have chairs.

sitting on the floor is more beneficial for the flexibility of the joints. Sheik Hamza did a very long video that included this point....in it he explains how the use of modern furniture has worked against human health.

Subhan Allah indeed re 'deluded' in their dress and speech, it's very theatrical, almost a caricature of what a spirituality enlightened person/people ought to present themselves like. There are some of these on KZbin and one in particular that its so obsessed with the unseen and make crazy claims... 🫥
