Iirc you get one of the grand crystal pass tickets per day, and it takes 100 for an expert lb stone. So just over 3 months. I think you can get rbg and normal lb stones for like 5 or 10? Not 100% on those though. Edit: as long as it's the same exchange rate as it is on jp.

Side storys(bottom of the quest page) everything on the 'exploring' tab ,crest palaces ,giant bosses ect they all give you free gems . I just finished chapter 24 and only now finishing up the side stuff hah there's lots of free gems to be had for sure ,everything helps for the upcoming collabs
