This was a great Recap. What about the bottles that Sheryl gets? I'm still not sure about what those are. Has Sheryl totally sold herself to the devil? Is she dead? I'm still not sure what happened that night when they took her blood. Was that a ritual?

They are not a pair of 'giant ceremonial scissors", the are a normal pair of gardening shears. They were simply a weapon of opportunity. I never saw a pair of giant ceremonial demon-popping scissors, and i sang in the choir for decades!

I love this show, but it has the scully and molder syndrome. Where as scully see the alien but denies it every time, same on evil, they all have seen demons of some sort but denies it and don't tell each other. To me this has been way over played, in real life, someone would have said something especially to the extent in which it has played out in the series. For once I would like to see it played out where they tell each other what they saw and or experienced and believe it.

this season been a bit underwhelming so far. dumb looking demons and not as intense as season 3. ep 1 and 4 were ok though
