Just a food for thought there for a bit of power leveling in a single zone. With the Mercenary EXP scroll, loyalty 530% scroll, and any other EXP scrolls that may be available you can level from 1-50 in catfishmen in about 25 minutes. As always though this content is amazing and gave me a new way to level that should be less dull.

This is a great guide. I personally care more about contribution XP more than combat XP or leveling up my seasonal character faster (I don't play with gear goals in mind). But if anyone is after gear, this is exactly what you should be doing. 10/10 KZbin channel.

When you get the Naru weapon, are you saying you should fully enhance it before starting the grind? And if so, doesn't that require doing much much more of the story quests to start getting the Beginner Black Stones?

Man I sure did jump the gun on this and your videos are just so good, I basically took a break since the last new character, because before that I had played to much it seemed with Guardian and got burnt out, but I came back to this on the 24th of December and wish I would have watched your videos first lol. My manos hunting gear armor really helped me out in the early stages of leveling. 250 dp let me powerlevel to 50 at helms in no time... once I had a weapon that could do damage. The Black Abyssal weapon did the job just fine. I converted one from another character to a box for my seasonal character to use.

Love your guides. They have been super helpful. One correction. There are tons of extra quests to get 61, especially in PC. I’m on console and we do not have Berlin Farm nor The Pier quests and I have gotten 61 purely questing. There are quests that start with your black spirit that open up new quest lines in Kamasylvia and Drieghan at different points a long those quest lines. If you follow the Kama quest line they are easy to pick up.

Running Altinova's quests require little fighting (aside from the chain in the Abandoned Mine) and they still reward a truckload of combat XP. So, between that and running 1 weekly for the Season, you have space to derp.

I’m not sure if it’s effective but from 56-59 I go to Ghaz and use marni Stones and the weekly 5k kill quest to quickly level in a couple days however I prefer to do that so I can get materials to level all my gear to tri and above. I use the mercenary Combat buffs that combine to 600% and the energy exchange as well.

When you mentation that the Naru Weapon can be upgraded to pen, you can only upgrade the weapon with Beginner blackstones that can only be obtained from questing? otherwise without upgrading will wont have enough ap to grind at helms or manes?

Im a little confused, on you solo to 61 one video, you say to get to heidel and get weapon. after that you grind, however you dont mention how you get rest of Naru gear, and also how you get the materials to upgrade that gear. You get from story but you say go grind? i learned you can heat Blackstones to get the mats, so i did, but now im thinking that was a waste ^^. So far i got a sword and a belt? where do i get rest from, should i grind as you say or go and continue on MSQ?

This doesn't make sense. The naru gear cannot be upgraded without beginner stones which are only given out by the main story. You cannot use weapons from another character.... it literally doesn't let you.

Can also use Nesser gear :) if u have a main that is the same class as the seasonal character with valencia quest part 1 finished and lots of cp to spare.... get the nesser weapons :) Seasonal characters can use them, that way you can skip all this crap mentioned in this video and just grind at pollys forever.

You mentioned that people without the Black Abyssal gear should use a PEN Naru. How do we get the beginner blackstones to get it to PEN before grinding. It seems the only easy way is playing through the main questline, which kind of defeats the purpose of that first grind.

L (key on keyboard) -> Heating -> Black Stone (weapon) -> Beginner blackstone x3 If you have no gear, I don't recommend doing this. I think I say to play the story in the video. But if you're hellbent on power leveling you can. If you have accessories, the base version of this weapon is enough, I do it in my leveling live stream with accessories plus this weapon base.

Just do ur Calpheon + Mediah quest lines and u will end up level 54 without grind but with full PEN NARU, then do ur subjugation quests for Asula Accs, convert the naru to tuvala after Mediah questline and grind mobs at your AP to level 56, awaken and follow his guide forward.

The guide seems vague for season characters/never having made season characters before. I'm a bit lost. I see the recommendation to get the naru weapon, but am lacking all the other naru gear at that point, and am low on AP. Not getting any beginner stones, and it's quite costly to get enough weap stones to level it up. Even at that I'm still lacking a naru offhand and jewlery, so still low on stats, making it hard to get 50-56. I also see somewhere in the vid you mentioned to just do the MQ early on to get the initial quest gear. But wouldn't this leave us under leveled for the 56-59 portion of the game?

Pretty sure you need to do the kamasylvia and drieghan questlines for most side quests to show, are you sure that's really possible to do some of them with the poor gear we have ? I'm sure you are since its not your first season but i was wondering

Do you need high AP to do those grind spots? Since you'd probably only have 2 Naru pieces at like +0-+2 by time you're done the beginning Heidel quests, so your AP would be low if you're a completely new player.

The only issue for me is I play on console and I was not aware that the area you start your 59-60 guide i cannot access the brelin farm area since that isn't released on console yet. What area do you recommend i level in the mean time? But either way great work on the guides helped me alot to understand black desert more.

I don't know of a way to level on console to 61. The best you can do is 60 as far as I know. Pick up the 59-60 video in grana and start there

The only thing that annoyed me beyond believe doing your guide the first time, was the fact that I didn't bring any life skill tools and I couldn't find any mention of it in the 56-61 part (which doesn't mean you didn't say it, I was mostly annoyed with myself), but some, more than you think, of the EXP quests have a gathering component and at first I skipped them, because "in the middle of nowhere", but I eventually had to go and finish them after all, to get to 61, at 3:00 AM before the end of the season :P I won't lie, it sucked.

I never mention it again though, so if you skip the intro bit you miss it. and you need the same items at the 60-61 video, but I don't say it again. You can't enhance that naru weapon without enhancing mats though? Which you need to do the main questline for awhile before you get enough to PEN a naru weapon. Am I missing something? Can you get beginner black stones some other way? Or use normal black stones?

Hey, I returned to BDO after a 3-4 year break and am currently leveling a season character. At 2 min. you recommend to play the story on your very first char so get the quest gear rewards. I already have some story items from the past, I also had a weapon box which worked on the season character and think I can make it to 90 AP without food buff. Is this enough to skip the story and grind to Lv 56? If I understand this correctly I will catch up on the story after hitting 56 and I wont miss out on any story rewards. One more question is regarding that 30% Quest Exp Item. I don't have it yet. Can I unlock it on my season character if I grind to 56 BEFORE I catch up on the story quests or is the story required ro unlock the Black Spirit quest at Lv 53? As a new player who will be playing more intermittently, would it make sense to use my stored up AFK Dummy training XP tomes at lower levels to level up while I'm at work to get some levels in lieu of grinding to 56? Or should I just save those for a non-season character alt because I don't need to waste them with all the Season bonuses already? Also are there ideal spots to use / stack bonus xp scrolls [i.e. daily login reward+scrolls, 530% loyalty scroll]? (Or is there a video for that somewhere). Thanks for the guide video! Save the afk books - 1-56 is seriously only like 2 hours tops. You'll be wasting them! Then 56-61 is just questing which you can do at whatever rate you want. 61+ is the real 'grind' Its best to save those buffs for grinding the 50-56/7 portion, it is the longest portion of actual grinding. Excess buffs you can save until you go and grind 61+

Its the same rewards as the leaf from last season. So I have a video on those breaking it down better. But short, weapon exchange coupons to reroll characters. Inventory slots. Manos crop, and gosphy pet all are good options

Just found this guide. Appreciate the help. I do have a question or two though... Earlier in the vid you said if this was our first time playing the game that we should just play the whole story. Then later on you mention the Chenga something or another. So, I am brand new. I have zero friends in the game and have made it to level 32. I am on the quest "The Clever Ones" dealing with Red Orcs... So, do I just keep doing the quest line and side quests until I find this CHenga thing or should I beg for someone to power level me to 56 (I think that's the level you said) and then find the chenga thing and THEN do the quest line for maximum experience? I looked for a "Are you a confused old man trying to play this insane game" video but didn't find it and I definitely don't want to watch the "Rick Roll" vid. PLease HALP!

If you're a new player, just play the story. Skip Valencia 2, it sucks. Not biased, it involves walking around the desert aimlessly for hours. The story will give you all sorts of freebies. Chenga tome is for power leveling 56-61, which you can't do as a new player since you have no gear, because you haven't done the story

Is this an outdated guide? I followed the guide until I got the naru weapon and I cannot enhance it to +10 as the guide suggests before grinding as the Basic Black Stones are character bound to my main. To acquire the black stones I'd have to continue the main story quests which I feel defeats the purpose of this guide. Please help a gal who is clearly lost or just confused. Am I missing something?

I don't think people without Accs and such shoudl do the grinding when they are 8 quests into Heidel tho. Yes they get their Naru Main wep but have no means to upgrade it as the Beginner Blackstones come from the MQs, leaving them with too low AP for the grinding.

Not really. Beginner Blackstones are also obtained from heating normal blackstones, so I was able to upgrade my weapon and head out with junk armor. I hit 56 with pretty much the weapon as the only upgrade. Nova class has insane DP and doesn't take that much damage. I'm now on the questing part at 56 and picking up gear and stones as I work my way through. I figure by the time I get back to Mediah, I'll be pretty solid.

Welp for me it boiled down to my guildies providing leeching at Schulz for levelling Season characters and questing together afterwards. But oh boi doing MQs on Seaso servers before you need to grind Timefilled BS and Tuvala Ore is a pain.
