Best Pantera cover ever!!! Just hear that guitar played by Ol Drake, the melodic and crunchy vocal from his brother Matt, and of course this fucking solo in the middle of the song. Just the best of the best! Still listening to this cover 10 years later from its release. Dime and Vinnie are proud of Evile, Absolutely.

To all the haters of this cover Evile have played this song in Texas and they were totally behind it, and after the show someone approached Ol Drake and shook his hand and said how much he enjoyed, the man was Dimebag's old guitar tech and he donated a guitar strap that dime used to show respect to Ol

Alan Vochinsky A rip off is a band taking something like a riff and not giving proper credit to the original artists (Led Zeppelin and Kiss comes to mind), Avenged has acknowledged the similarities and have given proper credit to the bands several times. Hail To the King was an album in tribute to the bands that helped shape who they are as a band, not to rip them off. They made a song similar to each of their favorite bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Guns 'N Roses, Judas Priest, etc. in tribute to them. If they ripped them off than where are the lawsuits? You know Axl would if he felt they ripped him off, you know Lars would, and Dave as well. Hell Metallica is good friends with Avenged and they are definitely guilty of "barrowing" riffs from Mercyful Fate, Sabbath, etc. just speeding them up and they have admitted it hundreds of times over the years. Every band does it, no need to get mad over it. It's called paying respect to the originals who make it possible for you to even be at the level you are. Have a great day/night and keep rockin'! \m/
