Everything miniaturized looks better. So if you have noticeable negative space (aka black strips on top and the bottom) the content in-between upgrades immediately becoming more aesthetic.

It seems like this video might be part of a bigger project or a movie, very vague though

This is unbelievable. I only know Pilotpreist because of their work with Electric Youth on a Canadian indie film called Come True, but it's one of the coolest movies I saw that year. I hated this car as a Ferrari concept, but as a futuristic sci-fi car it's perfect. To be fair, the large majority of concept cars are garbage looking. And the ones that aren't are never close to anything that goes into production. Also anything Zagato Design is usually bad, and I THINK this is a Zagato design. I could be wrong.
