There are 2 shows that if I could go back in time to see they would be the 1985 original London cast of Les Miserables and the original Broadway cast of Evita. Patti is phenomenal as Eva! Just a powerhouse! Nothing beats Hal Prince’s original staging!

You're right. I would have seen her at Les Mouches as well, and the Robber Bridegroom. It's amazing that we have recordings of a few things though

I was at the first Saturday evening performance of Les Miserables at the Barbican Theatre with the original RSC cast. I was also at the opening night of Evita in London. At both shows the place erupted at the curtain calls.

@@jamessworldd… She was fantastic in Sunset! She sang the hell out of that score and she didn’t camp the role up like everyone expected her to do. That was one of the reasons I liked her performance so much. Norma has become a camp/over acted character for years. Everyone from comedians to drag queens have played her that way. Patti said she didn’t want to do that because it had been done before.

I'm exactly the same, but my 3rd choice would be Willemijn Verkaik as Elphaba - especially her last night in London! Fantastic, all of them!

I still haven't watched the one with Patti and Mandy yet (bad Patti fan behavior). We all appreciate you cleaning it up though. Also, I'm not as proud of this as I am the Gypsy one because I didn't get to put my touch on it. Thank you though, and love you bud
