ich war vor 4 tagen in wien im ronacher mit meiner freundin und die inszenierung sowie die kulissen waren ansehnlicher, trotzdem schöne Stimmen und schön anzuhören :). evita ist ein tolles musical!

Dont get me wrong.. but the cast showing ZERO emotion during the huge “production haunting” first act HUGE HIT “Buenos Aires”.. is the most German thing ever haha I LOVE this so far (I’m after “Buenos Aires” ) this is my second time watching Evita in a language I don’t understand (I know every lyric to the play, my first non English was the Shiki Theater production)

Vielen dank für uploaden. Jetzt, Ich lerne Deutsch. I know perfectly this marvelous masterpiece, in spanish ( I saw it on stage more than 12 times ) and in english. I have the LP's ( signed by the cast ) and the music score. It is the first time I see it in German. I liked it very much. The cast is great as the production. Great job ! Evita is a very difficult role to perform, and miss Hakvoort is wonderful here. It is the first time I saw her and I love her performance. Her voice is beautiful. Congratulations to all the team !

Ich habe das Musical vor zwei Tagen im Ronacher in Wien gesehen. Ich war froh, eine 2. Inszenierung mit anderer Besetzung gesehen zu haben. Die Inszenierung hat mir von Wien ehrlichgesagt besser gefallen, jedoch sind die gesanglichen Leistungen von Evita (Maya Hakvoort) und Juan Péron (Franz Csencsits) meiner Meinung nach besser als von dem Cast in Wien...Tolle Aufnahme! Vielen Dank fürs uploaden!

ich habs auch im ronacher gesehen. die inszenierung war wie du schon gesagt hast wirklich viel besser aber ich fand die besetzung mindestens so gut wenn nicht sogar besser(che zum beispiel). aber ich find die jetzige besetzung im ronacher auch besser als die aus dem trailer für s ronacher und evita.

I found this conceptual version of Evita pretty cool! The overall idea was strong I just felt the ensemble looked very middle school drama club like. If they were used more and weren't blocked in straight lines the staging would look more complex. Also not a fan of the "basic all black im an actor onstage" costumes

“Not a fan of the all black actor attire..” YAS ! Omg.. I noticed this was a very bare basics play when no one seemed to be enjoying themselves during the huge act one hit, “Buenos Aries”.. but yeah, this is a bit too minimum basics. I’m enjoying hearing it in German tho. I’ve got the lyrics memorized and I loved the Shiki production to death, and I don’t understand a lick of Japanese haha

Die Inszenierung ist sehr gelungen. :) Allerdings bleibt für mich Patti LuPone die einzig wahre Eva Peron. ;) Dennoch ist Maya richtig gut. War sie auch als Elisabeth. Einfach eine großartige Darstellerin.

I was just looking for a version without commercial breaks. I must admit this German language version was quite enjoyable. The voices are remarkably similar to Patti Lupone and Mandy Patinkin.

I quite enjoyed the German version since I know almost all the English lyrics. The vocals is very good and comparable to the best US productions although the staging needs more money and the original turntable. Evita needs the original wig in the first act.

Maya als Evita ist wirklich großartig! Der Che-Darsteller ist auch fantastisch. Aber die Bühne ist ja wohl ein Witz?! Dafür wäre ich nicht extra ins Theater gegangen muss ich sagen.Die enttäuschendste Inszenierung, die ich je gesehen habe.

Yes I noticed that when they went to preform “Buenos Aires” . No one was even having a good time!! That’s our show stopping first act number !!

Elphaboy, thank you. Yet the Broadway production at least looked authentic! Elena Roger might not have the most pleasant voice, yet she was a great actress playing the part very well. I saw her in London and I couldn´t fault her. Same with lots of critics and that´s way she was asked to play Broadway. She could not have been that bad then.

Soweit ich weiß wurde der eigentlich nur für die Kinofassung mit Madonna komponiert. Man brauchte ja einen neuen Song um ins rennen um den besten Song bei den Oscars gehen zu können. Im Theater ist mir das nur einmal begegnet das sie den Song gesungen haben. Und auch das nur quasi als Zugabe.

This is the best version of EVITA apart from the film version. I think this a very brave move. Less is more sometimes.

no, JA SL is correct, here it reads as "Evita" in concert not actually the show... the individual performances are fantastic the staging, IMO, was a mis-step entirely, far FAR too minimal. but to be fair the b-way revival had its highly questionable moments**cough* Elana Rodger*cough* and she was only one a long list issues, she's just the worst part and she was Eva!!!!

Ich finde Maya nicht gut als Evita. Sie ist eine tolle Sängerin und als Elisabeth war sie gut. Wenn auch keine Pia. Aber Evita hat, in meinen Augen, mehr als 4 verschiedene Gesichtszüge. Vielleicht kann man aber auch einfach niemanden mit PattiLuPone vergleichen.
