I did have ecamm as well as streamyard and played around with them a bit but I was focused on my youtube channel and podcast but not with live content. I do want to go there. It seems since your recording they lowered the 5 destinations to 2, with the free plan. Which is still awesome 🤩 ….I only live stream to Facebook and KZbin anyways. One feature I don’t see is the ability to bring in a RTMP source for another platform. For example: I use Zoom to connect to our BlogTalkRadio switchboard via Zoom’s phone lines, and simulcast to Facebook, with our hosts’ video & audio via Zoom, and the BlogTalk audio through the Zoom. Works great 👍 but I’d like to be able to stream to Facebook and KZbin at the same time, AND have the additional functionality of an additional platform like Evmux.

Yes they've made some changes to the free plan which I knew was possible because... It's free. That blogtalkradio piece is very nice, thanks for sharing that workflow with us. Great Video. This looks to be a great product with potential. However, at least on my end, there are performance issues. I have a CPU meter tool that shows current CPU usage. Open my ATEM, which I use as input to evmux. Before opening evmux, CPU shows 5%. Then open evmux, jumps to 80%. Share a video, jumps to 120%, ATEM software closes, video stutters, problems. Same setup in Streamyard maxes out at 70%, no issues. My PC specs are high enough, though I cannot locate evmux recommend specs. Just curious if you or others seeing these CPU issues? I really wanna use evmux, but not with these kinda issues. I understand this software is kinda new, hopefully they can update.
@kirkrnugent2 жыл бұрын
Awesome comment! I didn't experience any cpu utilization spike while testing. Also when you say "share a video" you mean play a local video into EVMUX? If so I didn't do that since I could upload any video size /length to EVMUX and okay directly from there. You are right it's new and will get better with time but it's also not StreamYard in that it's giving you far more functions and features so it's going to utilize more than StreamYard would.
