His spacing and mental game were on-point; the only evident rust was in some of his punishes, but there is no question that PP completely out-smarted him game 1, and still managed to scrape out the win in game 2 after Armada had shaken off his rust and impressively adapted to PP's new style.

I remember watching this and after that 1st stock and knowledge of Armada's little bit of a Falcon problem... I had hope. This was Wes's chance to shine and he almost had it.

People were saying Armada was perhaps in the best shape of his life based on friendlies on PBnJ's stream. His matches vs. various spacie players were very indicative of his rust, though Mango and PeePee looked near the best shape I've ever seen them against him. Armada also didn't look as confident or satisfied looking on his face as he usually did after he made it to top 8. In a Bo5 set, I have to wonder how Armada from Apex would have done against PP from day two.
