You can play the Final Showdown version in Yakuza 6's Sega Arcade at Nakamichi Street (and other sega classics). I actually was looking for the PC version after enjoying playing it on Yakuza 6 and I was surprised there is no PC version unless you play it in another game lol.

I feel as though they don't see enough of a return potential to make another one....even though its a great game with wonderful fighting mechanics, the fan base is lacking because the marketing team isn't working hard enough to get new fans of the series. SF, MK and Tekken spend soooo much money on marketing which is why they have great sales. VF'S marketing team is sadly lacking. Its been over a decade since this came out and it still holds, thank goodness. I would hate to see such a well crafted game fade away

@josuedlys I was disagreed, but you changed my mind, it's true the marketing of this game was low almost NONE while the others you'll have cameos and celebrities in their games and that is way expensive for a game already successful, while VF would just be offered again and wait to get noticed.

​@@josuedlysYo, tbh I think they can make it work if Sega can make VF6 a crossover fighter with DOA. Possibly disguise a Yakuza (ik it's going by like a dragon now) trailer to advertise it. Iirc, Yakuza and VF5 remaster share the same visual engine. Possibly add in some new characters that have prominent storylines, and actually update some of the mechanics and visuals, I think VF has a chance to work lol. It's incredibly simple to pick up and play, so new players would have no problems getting into it, just add in new characters for them imo.

Love, love, love the Virtua Fighter series and VF 5 Ultimate is a great version. I do like some of the lighting in VF 5 Final better, but they’re such excellent games!! Loving the EVO content.

I am actually convinced that Namco could release another 10 Tekkens at this point, while Sega releases no more VFs and they still won't be nearly as good as this one. Virtua Fighter 5 is the best 3D fighter currently on the market, ancient or not.

This video has convinced me that Virtua Fighter is not just the best game at EVO, but the best E-Sprot there is. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. And the fact that Kurito won and IMMEDIATELY went. to play street fighter is icing on the cake.

These VF people dunno shhh they haven’t met me yet, I’d show them why Jeffery is OP. Like out of all that “versatility” that always gets talked about these players using “any character” u literally see little to none of Jeffery. As a top Jeffery player, I’ll tell you right now, it’s not on the “character”. It’s like no one knows how to properly use him for what tournament play? That’s garbage imo. N this whole “tier” is another garbage aka picking popular fighters as this “top tier bs” lol like that makes no sense. N then u get people just playing the SAME character over and over again. lol Played out is the word for it not “top tier” lol again it’s on the player not the “character” and any “true” PRO at fighting games should know, ANY character can be deadly in a fighting game in the RIGHT PLAYERS HANDS. So this whole BS bubble of “tiered” characters is for noobs, who NEED to categorize characters lol. If u good at fighting games, then u understand. It’s in the player not the character and ANYA CHARACTER can be “good” in the right players hands. So keep acting like there is some “pattern” to this stuff and that’s how u will eventually get read yourself. Live in the world of predictable and you become predictable yourself.

Also 3TB all day. I will even admit you will beat me at the newer ones, but it’s because like pretty much all new fighters (vs their old counterparts) are garbage. All those new characters (even u see monk and luchador etc in THIS SET so where would THOSE players be without those new trash characters? My case n point also, this entire “top 6” not a SINGLE person used an “original” VF character. 🤮 🤮 🤮 I’m not even “worried” about the “top” players in VF if that’s all they bringing to the table. Again where the f would any of these losers be in VF1-2? No where. They ALL had to choose to use the broken new trash characters (that were the beginning of the end to VF aka what brought the TRASH TEKKEN crowd in) like 100$ says each and every trash on this top 6 plays Tekken.
