Evo All Programming ( Using The Flashlink )

I'm glad you made this video for us people that don't know how to do this. You are very helpful. On my install it kept on shutting the car off when I opened up the door, driving me crazy. But someone told me that I needed to reflash it and it will fix it. I just ordered my flash link 2 today. We will see what it does for me.

Hi Robert, it is a very good video. I just installed one on my 2012 honda civic today and everything work, except the two wires hook up to unlock and lock the door does not work. Does it have to do with programming the EVOL ALL. Thank you.

So I have the evo all installed but I was advised not to disconnect my battery cables unless I knew how to reprogram the module or else the car would no longer start? Is that true?

What is the key bypass? I as because a friend miata's key ring for security is failing and the dealer can't seem to get parts. its been months. So if there is a way to use something like this to by pass the key ring and just use the key to turn the car on and off (not get the code from the key but from a bypass of sorts) that might be a cheap; and only way to work around the hole "no parts" problem.

they're very similar, except the evo-one can do manual trans and also handle high current applications + do can bus simultanously. (and also has more programmable options).

I have a 2014 murano. followed your video exactly. once i programmed it the red light was flashing. No remote start function at all not sure where i went wrong

Is your car push to start? According to the Fortin website 2014 Murano push to start should work but if you use a key or intelligent key then it looks like it wont. Not sure if Nissan dropped keys on that model after 2007 just wondering if that could be your problem. fortin.ca/en/products/evo-series/evo-all/vehicles.html#nissan

Hi there I have a 2012 mitsubishi lancer se I installed fortin evo all year ago it was working perfect until I stop using it for 2 months and it stop working I reset the module and repeat the routine all over and now no luck. The light next to reset switch flash rapidly on the first click then on the second click it slows down then on the third click my lights flashs but it won't over turn. Can someone help me out here

the blue light signifies a canbus connection issue, see if your grey and grey/black are reversed..

I agree, that is most likely a st generateion model that had issues like the one youre explaining, that evo needs to be swapped, where'd you get it? also the rf kit setting for crimestopper is the default if I recall correctly because they work by the first option without the necessity of adding in an rf decoder unlike the usual compustar kits I add in, I had that call in to fortin in the past.

Lessco Electronics I talked with them and they said they have never seen this issue before. I am going to swap it, but Fortin said people are not supposed to sell these on Ebay or Amazon. Only to be sold and installed by Fortin dealers. I did not know that when I bought it.

what kind the car do u have? if u have a jeep make sure u buy the one for Chrysler dodge Jeep... i got a Evo Combo from walmart i had to return it bc they shipped me the wrong one ;;;; get the one Chrysler Dodge Jeep and u will be fine ..
