Just so you are aware, the "-23.4 PSI" for boost when you say you are tuned for that number is not correct. While idling you are reading vacuum, not boost. Hence the negative boost number. What you are tuned for doesn't really touch that number.

Yeah bro, the Fb page is only for FE Evos. As far as the RF system. Just buy the android that is for the RF system since it comes with a different harness specifically for RF.

hi bro, nice car. i just want to ask regarding power amp player can you make it a default player and connect it on the steering audio controls? the volume works but the rest is not and if you tried to skip the track the default player will be the one working and power amp stops. thanks bro.

What wires did you tap into in the back of your evo, I have the same head unit and same camera but when I splice into the back up light wires the camera and lights will work for about 5 seconds then both shut off please help me!!!!

sorry bro, for a stock unit, you might have to find a harness to install that and you have to tap on certain wires. It's not super hard, but definitely more work. I never did that to my evo, so i wouldn't be able to explain to you where you need to connect.

if your using the stock, best advice I can give you is to use a hi/low converter. basically, it taps on the hi signal coming from any speaker like the rear and converts it to low which then goes to your mono amp for tour subs. hope that helps you. I did this to my eclipse and it came out nice.

Hello, I just installed my backup camera on my Evo and it works fine, but when I put I'd pack into park or drive the screen goes fuzzy for like 10sec than it goes to the Android UI. I wasn't too sure where to connect the extra wire on the video cable that goes to the backup camera itself so I connected it to the red power cable for the backup camera. is that connected properly?

@@nicobull Okay, I connected all the wires correctly. The only thing I didn't do was put tape around the video cable. Do you think that would cause the static after I switch the car into drive or park?

Boost King it could be loose, if not maybe the wire is either bad or the other end of the trigger wire maybe is not doing good connection.

​@@nicobull I figured it out. Pain in the ass to say the least. If you have an led reverse bulb the car will still send out a little bit of power enough to keep the reverse camera mode on but not enough to power the camera. Thanks for the help though!

AJ Larsen it's an aftermarket android head unit made by a company called sygav. These one specially fits base model lancer and evolutions.

Best product ever! got mine installed and fixed all the problems. You will encounter issues but its easy fix. Sygav-us is also very helpful. Any questions i can also help. Got the updated one. Nico's vid helped me a lot. Thanks buddy =) For those who have the rockford fostgate system, make sure to let sygav-us know that you need that adaptor for it and not the non-rockford fostgate one.

thanks man. I used some metal brackets that a friend of mine custom made. They're two pieces, one bolts on to the intercooler mesh bolt and the other on is zipped tied to the mesh. Find me on instagram under Nico_evox and send me a message. I'll send you some pics.

nevermind. I contacted the seller. the FM radio was working fine, but the AM was not picking anything up. It turned out to be that the radio was still set to CHINA and not US. I was able to access the factory settings and fix it. Thanks for the reply bro!!!

Hey brother, when i contacted the seller they gave me the factory password: 126. Not sure if it is the same for you, but when you get in there, look under radio, and you will see that the radio is set to somewhere out in the eastern hemisphere. At least is was for me. I just set it to America 1 and it worked. Let me know if you have any luck.

I have the Rockford fosgate on my evo. One of the things it tells you is how many miles you have left until you have to do the oil change and when you have to change out the brake pads, does the head unit have that also ?

jose alfaro no, it won’t do that because you’ll be replacing the stock unit. That works only with your OEM unit.

Have you noticed the AFR gauge stays at 14.7? Mine does that as well and but it should be constantly moving like the boost gauge

26torpedo maybe because it receives the signal from the computer via Bluetooth and it’s not as real time as it would be when you connect it directly to an O2 sensor on the downpipe

Hey there! I'm not sure if you'd be able to help me, but I'd figured I'd ask anyways lol. So in the bluetooth settings, where it says "available devices", it shows that I have "OBDII" as an available device. So i click on it, then it says "pair and connect?" I click 'yes', but then it doesn't pair. I'm not exactly sure why it's doing that. I click the yes button, and the question to connect goes away, and that's it. It's still a "available device" but never becomes a "paired device." Any idea what I can do?

you have to connect the trigger wire. That gets connected to the unit where it says reverse and the other end you will run the wire all of the way to your trunk and tap it to the reverse light. That way every time you put the car on reverse, it will automatically switch to that.

Got it bro. Yeah i was able to take care it. I bought a wireless one so I didnt have to run the cable from all the way in the back to the radio. Only thing, I need to get a filter in order to filter out the engine noise on the line.

the OBD2 has to be plugged in so it can give you the readings

yes. Connect that and the trigger wire which is the one that will turn on the camera whenever you put your car on reverse.

You said you had a subwoofer in this vid, I wasn't sure if that was the factory Rockford one or another aftermarket sub you put in. Also, send me that link for the 3G internet (HSUPA) piece for the unit. The thing that looks like a flash drive. Black with orange outlining. I am guessing that gives you free internet, wifi without you having to use your phone data.

hey Chase! I don't have a RF sound system, and yes I was referring to an aftermarket sub and amp I installed. As far as the 3g adapter, I haven't bought any yet, so I wouldn't know where to send you for that, or tell you what would work best for that.

just make sure you transfer the weight sensors from your existing "lancer" seats to the recaros along with the seat belt buckle. Oh! but before you do any of that, make sure to disconnect the negative from your battery.

Raymond Liang that's weird man... I would say the radio should either work or just not work at all. First time I hear this... I wouldn't know what to tell you man. I have a lot of people asking about the back up camera. I'll try to get a video going soon. I'm just super lazy to take it all apart to do that, but I'll be getting some gauges installed in he next couple of weeks and I'll go over that for your guys.

awesome!! Yeah, that's what I did as well. As far as the wires, there is none in the trunk, you have to run it from the unit, all of the way to the back and tap the trigger wire to the reverse light wire.

just go to the bluetooth app and pair the phone to the unit just like you would pair your phone to any other bluetooth device. Its very simple.

A friend of mine fabricated a bracket that attaches to the bolt that secures the wire mesh in front of the intercooler. It's a very solid set up.
