Yeah he has a lot haha, the car has actually changed a bit since I filmed the video too. Our 98 here i think is the equivalent to your 94 or whatever your top fuel is and your 91 is our 95
@M_Weber4 жыл бұрын
@@JacksonStrain that's what's up. Most top fuel in the city is 91, until you reach the skirts of town & start needing higher octane for farm equipment & they have 93 at the pump. Getting e85 in my area is a hassle & the few places that do have it, really aren't good quality.

All of that work and money put into a car and it’s an auto 🙅🏼♂️
@JacksonStrain4 жыл бұрын
Have you driven a dual clutch automatic before? In Australia everyone learns to drive in manuals and it isn't considered special like it probably is to you, after 10 + years of driving heavy clutches daily myself and the owner of this Evo decided that a dual clutch auto would be a great upgrade which it was, I've now owner my SST Evo for over 6 years and it's a lot of fun and extremely convenient.
@austinash93374 жыл бұрын
Jackson Strain I understand the region difference now but yea manuals are the way to go in America. I have a 2015 GSR and I couldn’t imagine it being an auto, I’d be pissed
@JacksonStrain4 жыл бұрын
@@austinash9337 I said I'd never own an auto again after having one for a daily a few years back as it was boring, but after driving a dual clutch trans for the first time I realised it's completely different and you are always in control of which gear you're in you just don't operate the clutch anymore. They also get the benefit of having a 6th gear which turned me off buying the GSR as I'd always owned 6 speed manuals before looking at buying an Evo. I actually made a video a few months ago with a friend who owns a GSR driving an MR for the first time and he absolutely loved it and I find it's usually the same for most people when they drive a DCT.
@austinash93374 жыл бұрын
Jackson Strain I feel you, no hate. The video was good and fun to watch and the car looks great, I jus don’t like autos. Manuals are so much more fun and enjoyable to some ppl
@JacksonStrain4 жыл бұрын
@@austinash9337 yeah that's fair enough and completely understandable. Being that my channel is based mainly around SST Evos and Ralliarts I get a lot of comments such as why would you waste money on an auto ect ect so I usually just try to explain that they can be fun and yes aren't as fast around a track as a manual nor as engaging but some people like them as it suits their needs better. Either way us Evo X owners should stick together as we already cop hate from older Evo owners 🤣
