I mean, for me as a Porsche guy, the car is just unbelievable and pure perfection. BUT other than praising the car I adore, I need to dedicate this comment to the absolute perfection and incredible quality of this video. It's just beautifully edited, and the sound design is just from another planet, just PERFECT to match the perfectionism of a car like the 992 GT3 RS! Seeing Z06 reviews recently then seeing this, you know why this car is at this price, there's actually much bigger precision difference than paper will suggest, hence Z06 struggling to beat GT3 on Nurburging despite 170hp more

@@ArtVandelayOfficial boy been driving/owning every 911 generation since 996 and I can tell you won't be able to appreciate difference unless you drive them, I never got bored of them and until today Cayman 981 GTS/ 991.2 GT2RS/GT3RS are topping my list of best cars I ever driven, and I driven/owned alot, including Ferraris + Lambos + Mclarens + C8 and many others...... The only car top them is 675LT (potentially 765LT which haven't driven it yet)

Nurburgring times with cheater tires don’t mean squat on track days. GT3 RS already get gapped by the older Z06. Than again most owners just talk about what they’re car could do and don’t take them to the track, you might be one of those if you could afford it

@@richardtodorov I see more Porsches on my local track than all of other manufacturers (combined) lol, so forget about me I can tell you majority of these owners do take them to track, not like a Lambo or Ferrari, as for gapping, you can gap as much as you want but you want smile as much as these cars drivers do....... Plaid will destroy nearly every car on straights but where's fun part? Here GT3RS is about driving experience there's literally only handful of cars deliver race car experience for the road as much as this

Steve is the best car journalists out there he’s passion shows In whatever car he reviews the RS is a fantastic road and track car. but I don’t think it is the ultimate I think if you want the ultimate road and track car than the McLaren senna an the Aston Martin Vulcan are the ultimate road and track yes I did say the Vulcan there are companies that can make it road legal If you don’t have the money for those then you can buy the GT2 RS or the Mercedes AMG GT-R black series

All these on the fly setting options are a real game changer! It also draws a visible line in between the GT3 models. Love it - now my Touring makes much more sense than a 991.2 Touring did in between its sibling. 992 GT3s are nicely defined each.

Another great review by Steve. However, how can Porsche justify holding their hand out for more cash to fit the PCCB's at this level- soooo tight of them. On an RS they should be standard-fit.

Would I be right in saying because the 911 engine being rear it's driveshaft is so short it looses less crank hp? The average drivetrain loss is 15percent due to long driveshaft! In a 911 the rear diff is right next to engine/ gearbox so the power loss through gearbox is there but that's it! The rear diff connects straight to gearbox! It must cut the power loss to half 7percent! So this car would have 470 wheel hp! Or the same as a 600plus hp car at crank! Am I correct???

A very focused car. Not a daily in any situation. No trunk or back seat access is a bit of a sales killer. Maybe skip the Weissach package. It's a pure track car and a 4th or 5th vehicle for target buyers.

Ultimately, to be brutally honest, they’re very difficult things to combine - road and track. I’ve owned pure racing cars, pure road cars, and cars that try and combine the two. The most memorable and best have always been the first two. Obviously I haven’t tried this latest GT3, but quite often that latter category of combing the two ends up feeling like a compromise in both environments. This car probably won’t be as nice on a B road as a 911 GTS or Cayman; or as focused, fun and composed on track as an F3 car, Radical etc. Both are available for less money combined than this car, including running costs. As I say though, I’m open minded and I haven’t tried this car - it does look fantastic.
