I've played right away and thought hum this game have a lot of future... so i randomly saw a darun pro match and as a zangief player almost hAd an orgasm... now i think this game is way better than sfv, at least IN mechanics and jack with those heavy boots and heels stepping on some douche's face... :'BANG!CRACK !

Ex fighting layer, power rangers battle for the grid, skull girls are all great games. The amount of time and love put into these games are incredible

I know that in a lot of fighters, anti-airs are overpowered, thus rendering jumping normals ineffective, but in this game, anti-airs seems non existent (I could be wrong), and the constant jumping normals are just a bit too repetitive. Is there no way to stop a jumping mid?

Most characters have awful anti-air options yeah. There are a couple of shotos with DPs, and others have DP type attacks, but if you want to play a character like Darun Mister then you're going to get mauled by people jumping 24/7 with zero respect.

You right, for example in Koihime Enbu, anti air can cause Hougeki counter, making jump attacks completely useless.

There are two brackets: winners and losers. Think of it as two lives. If you to someone, you have a second life. If you lose again, you are out of the tournament. Justin and Dragoonba were on winners side (two lives) in the first set. Justin loses and gets sent to losers bracket (with NerdJosh and GX).

The game isn't horrible and from what I've played online it works fine for me it may differ for others. They announced the PC version which will most likely have updated online and other features that are not in the PS4 version. If you've played the SFEX games in the 90's and early 00's you'll know what you are doing with this game . The only new features in the fighting system are the run in combo system and the gougi decks.

@@vyrde although i disagree with Bludika, rollback doesnt make a game good or bad. its just playable online regardless, Fighting EX Layer is so sick lol
