Imo the nerfs to the fusions weren’t enough. Not discrediting the players, however these characters still have the tools that made them top tier in the first place. Mirrors in grand finals just kind of prove that. I love this game but I hope they tune them down just a bit to the levels of all the other characters

i dont think they should be nerfed but the characters that are mid-tier or low tier should be buffed, they have A LOT of potential to be one of the best characters (looking at trunks and frieza), and i have hope for my thesis because vegeta blue last patch got super buffed and became the main star of this patch. I hate seeing fusions play ngl, and im super glad teams this patch got a bit more diversified but it is still not enough for other characters to shine.

Pretty sure he was doing that to try and get his opponent out of the "zone" They are allowed to take a break in between rounds. It is shit that the shitter sonicfox has done before. One time he forced a side switch and it took the incompetent hosts of the tourney like 30 mins to just find the rules and allow them to switch sides, which tilted the opponent. Its unsportmanlike.

I just don't like how Dragonball fighterz has evolved. Basically everything post lab coat 21 has been lame. Worse metas, a bigger focus on bypassing the neutral with beams and balls which was already a problem and a few just obviously broken characters. Hopefully they can get it back on track and just don't put 21 in any future games.

Sonicfox decided to focus on Street Fighter 6 and DQ'd themselves. Kazunoko didn't attend the event. Go1 came to Evo but only focused on SF6. Many of the old heads for this game dropped it a while ago. Fenritti is still playing the game but only got 13th place this year.

Its actually quite ridiculous that the fusions are still alive and well they need to change fundamentally like andorid 21 lab coat like being able to refelct her spin her a assist is not the great anymore still alot of good tools but not top 1 anymore look the fusions buttons are too good gogeta blue probably the fastest 2m in the game it has anti aired me before that is just wrong vegito 5m needs to be slowed down i dont care if they take tge wiff recovery off just slow it down andorid 17 is a balanced character has strengths and weakness but that assist is actually criminal when nitro 2h that superdash not only that assist made it safe but he got to punish him for choosing the right answer that is highway robbery right those decisions in high level competition are deciding factors weather or not they win stop rewarding mashing gameplay like hikari has great movement but if you notice when he played nitro he was mashing his heart out but to be fair it was calculated but he knew that he could do that because of the characters he was playingbut nitro and other player have to play at level where they cant do that or they will get punished obviously as shown so im hoping the next patch actually addresses the issues we have with the current state of this game
