I personally like the new voice actress of Amanda because the old one makes her sound like an adult. But the new makes her sound much younger. The old one was perfect to match the old Amanda's energy, demonic and unstable. The new Amanda still is very demonic but now actually impersonates a scared lost soul trapped and forced to be stuck in a living hell.

The progress since the original release it wild. Like the very original game was tame compared to this. It was more just unsettling than outright scary. The full game, tho, actually is scary. Plus, seeing Amanda absolutely break down when pissed was scary to me. And this time, it seems more like she's actually trying to fight the entity off instead of being just a straight up demon like in the tape where all the stores turn into butcher shops and she screams "why can't I stop it" though some aspects of her original self remain, like when she roofied Wooly, then killed him or when she turned him into a normal sheep.

Something I realized as the new version came out is not only the knocked-in chest, but Lauren going missing would make a lot of sense when you realize how childish Amanda gets. The screen in the pilot with Amanda's figure going black? Missing child, aka what Lauren's mom saw. And now the tapes are showing that even Wooly feels bad and notices that his friend Amanda is missing something and the death obsession probably means that Lauren can't ever come back and it's a matter of time before her body is found.
