It's said that during the development of WarioWare: Touched!, Nintendo Treehouse thought Ashley was going to be a one-time character, like with Mona's story featuring Vanessa. And when it came to Ashley's voice acting, it became problematic for 14 years when a random employee voiced Ashley instead of a professional voice actress. Luckily, they've realized their original mistake, and they DID get a professional voice actress to voice Ashley since WarioWare Gold in 2018. And her name is Erica Lindbeck. You may be familiar with her.

Wario has had a bizarre life, he’s fought Mario, an evil gem, demon clowns, pirates, a gentlemen thief in a mech, and a character from “for frog the bell tolls”. He was raised by farmers with his prized possession being a chicken. Destroyed KZbin. Aquired ALL the treasure in television(but couldn’t take it with him). And saved multiple kingdoms as an after effect. He’s a greedy jerk but there’s no denying he’s an interesting one, and I always thought that’s how he got friends.

I love how Ashley is the Mandy of the WarioWare Series. They are so similar, I can help but see the resemblance. Also, I personally like Ashley better with black hair and black eyes. Makes it that much cooler when she transforms as her hair AND eyes change color.

@@idkguy8875 They are similar in the "don't f*ck with me" aspect. Both rarely smile. Both have at least one best friend. Both rarely emote anything besides anger. Both like creepy things. Both have access to magic. Both have even alluded to killing their best friends; Ashley with using Red as an ingredient (though she may have been joking or found another substitute, who knows) and Mandy multiple times to Billy, the most blatant one being trying to melt him with a magnifying glass when he was shrunk and admitted she knew what she was doing. I can go on. I know Mandy is more dangerous, never said she wasn't. Mandy has conquered the world in at least two different timelines and vows to do so on her own one day. Of course she is more dangerous. Though to Ashley's credit, she is far less expressive than Mandy.
