I think it was mostly because in 1942 the planes did a loop when performing the trick. But with Jets you didn’t need to do the loop you could just let them fly and they wouldn’t stall out for awhile.

Zookaman was apparently the original. Loopzook, loop came from how the plane reacted and zook either from his name or well, the bazooka used. Rendezook, comes from Stun_Gravy in BF3. Rende being short for rendezvous.

Something I've noticed is that a lot of people are suddenly noticing and knowing what the Rendezook! is, and I've seen some commenters also questioning it. A theory I have is that the new BF2042 trailer has reignited some of the old battlefield community with the feature of the Rendezook. It's even a possibility that some people had never knew the name until the trailer came out. Even still, it's cool to see the community and Dice as a whole appreciate Battlefield's history, even if BF2042 is bad
