Bigbang boys infinitely talented, lies was the first song produced by the artists of a company with great success, after that the companies gave the idols confidence to make their own music, fantastic baby an important song since after two scandals great many people hated gd the bigbang leader and daesung another member of the group until death wished they thought they were going to fail, it became the most important national and international success of a kpop group at that time, I like the songs that are not as fanatic of them as cafe or oh my friend, my girfriend, also other better known as blue, if you, monster, etc. I love these guys artistically worth listening to their discography, but I like them more as people They are completely transparent idols, who have made a mistake but these guys assume things and make it something positive besides they never give up, they are not afraid to start from scratch and although the world tells them that they cannot achieve something they achieve it, really everyone is amazing, I miss them a lot

BIGBANG are truly one of my favorite groups ever - even today with so many talented rookies in the industry. I'd love for you to check out an unhelpful guide or something to get to know them better. They don't really care too too much about idol image these days, mostly focusing on their solo works and just having fun as they near their 30's. All of them are incredibly rich and boost successful solo careers. Bring them together and they make the Hallyu Wave into a Hallyu Tsunami. VIP is a huge fandom, too. These men sell out domes individually and own a lot of property. As a basic rundown of current members: *GD* - the leader, vocalist, rapper, fashion king, perfectionist; has been working in music since he was like 6 years old. YG saw him and started training him for a hip-hop duo with Taeyang (who also started music pretty young). Basically was YG's bet on a successful boy group - which paid off big time. BIGBANG ended up MAKING YG the big company it is. GD's known for being a perfectionist and would make his members re-record songs until they got it how he wanted. He's also super shy and quiet when he doesn't know someone well, but his stage presence is sooooo strong. After "LOSER" came out, VIPs were more aware of his depression and noticed that he had lost a lot of weight (you can see how skinny he is during his solo song "UNTITLED"). I suggest "BULLSHIT". It's such a badass song and his live performance as his solo concert was PERFECTION. This song live was so beautiful and there were sooo many fans if you look at the crowd. After departing from the military last month, he's taking a break from the public until more members come out I presume. Most of his solo concerts are held in Japan. He's super muscular and also plays the drums - which he plays them on stage during "SOBER" live stages. His solo music was mostly "club" songs but really catchy. I really loved "1,2,3" since it was a different style from him. He went on a solo tour in late 2018 after his bros left for the military, trying to carry all of the weight of BIGBANG on his back during this short time left in his career. Seungri opened up many popular ramen shops and also was manager of YG BLACK LABEL, but seemed to get into the wrong company over time. In early 2019 when he was the last member of BIGBANG not in the military, Seungri was accused of doing a lot of illegal shit to the point of where he quietly departed from the entertainment industry and cooperated with police until he was arrested. The case is ongoing and they haven't said whether he's going to be found guilty or not (and on what charges out of those accused). While I'm disappointed with how Seungri turned out and wish he hadn't made these mistakes, I think it's best as an older VIP to look back on BIGBANG OT5 with fondness and let the police/prosecution deal giving him the consequences of his actions as they are due. He's denied everything so far, so some fans are patiently waiting for the results before charging him as guilty. It's a sensitive topic for VIPs.

Here’s a lil rundown of the caption situation, just because I feel like lots of reactors aren’t really used to having to mess with it. When you watch a kpop video or any video that you want captions on, check the cc button. If it’s there that means there are available captions. Don’t just click that though. Click on the options and look at caption list. If the available English caption says “English (Auto-Generated)” DON’T use it. It will never be correct. It’s a machine translating bits and pieces of what it hears and it often hears miscorrectly or not at all and doesn’t translate correctly either way. If there’s an English option that just says English or just doesn’t say Auto-generated it is correct. Especially on the kpop videos because those captions are likely created by translators within their company who work to create the subtitles for the artists. The reason I say never just click the cc button to turn it on is because if you’re not paying attention the captions it turns on will be something like “Spanish (Auto-generated) or Portuguese”. As much as we want you to experience subtitles we don’t want you to suffer and be confused by the auto generated mess. Also if there’s no cc button there’s no English captions on the video period. However there are plenty, if not hundreds, lyric videos of songs, all created by fans who speak multiple languages or have looked up the lyrics, that display the lyrics of the song in the native language and in the translated one along with the audio playing. So if understanding the lyrics are that important to you, and the video doesn’t have captions, just check out a lyric video to get that understanding. Sorry for the long comment, it’s just a personal pet peeve of mine to see reactors not quite understand what’s happening with the caption system of KZbin.

I came across your channel last night and I like your concept of reacting to evolution of artists I was initially planning on being a silent viewer but I just cant contain ny feels when it comes to Bigbang. In "LIES", the girl was abused by her boyfriend and ended up killing him. GD, who loved her, walked in and told her to run so he could be arrested instead of her. It was an act of pure love. She doesn't see the members because they are like whispers that are trying to remind her of what she forgot. Sometimes when someone goes through a traumatic situation, they block it out and almost get amnesia. Once she remembered, she ran to find him but he was already in jail. As for "LAST DANCE"... it's kinda a hard song for me to listen to but idk about other VIPs... It was released shortly before TOP enlisted in the military and thus it started them leaving us to serve their country. Then TOP's scandal happened and he nearly... well... we almost lost him and this song got a whole new meaning for me. TOP rarely ever sings so it already hit hard - especially with the cheering fans in the background and him tearing up; but the thought of losing him... I can't even type this without having to pause to collect myself. I thought it was really going to be our "last dance" with him. Luckily it didn't happen and he recovered but with Seungri's scandal, it really turned into the last time OT5 would be together like this. My VIP friend and I can't hear "LAST DANCE" without crying.

KPop music companies then, really usually manufactured as per the public taste...... BigBang sort of developed a formula that adhered to the fans as well as the general public..... Yes. You are right the first video is not like the todays kpop. And yes, BIG Bang is the game changer. That's why people will never deny how BIGbang shaped the kpok to what it is right now. Before all the songs released are all like the first song that you had reacted and nobody dare to change the norms. Bigbang entered the kpop world and started to released a hiphop/pop songs. Alot of people criticized them and yet they still continue to create such kind of songs. So yeah they are the Kings of kpop. Next you should do an evaluation for Shinhwa but let me warn you it'll take quite long, cause they are the longest running band not only in Korea but in the world -without any breaks except for their military hiatus and without any member changing or leaving(they are in the Guinness Record book for this). This year hits Shinhwa's 22nd anniversary. They have a lot of hit songs ans they were the first ones for almost everything in Kpop. They're TVXQ, Super Junior, Girl Generation and Shinee's sunbae group from SM but they left SM and formed their own company as SM wanted to disband the group and became even more popular. They've recently won their name rights after 15 years of trial battle.

9:30 Okay I maybe a bit late since this was posted a month ago but the girl in the MV was battered girlfriend and one day, she had enough of it and fought back but ended up killing him. Gdragon which I think has feelings for her, took the blame for it. Thats why in the beginning of the song he was being chased by the police. Them following the girl throughout the MV isn't really part of the story. Haha. This song was the first song that made them huge btw, they produced the song themselves which back then wasn't a thing in kpop industry. When a video says auto generated lyrics it means a computer is trying to translate what it is hearing. They are never accurate. If someone says a Korean word that sounds like an English word it will think they are saying the English word and put that on the screen.
