Crunch was really left behind the scenes a lot throughout the games. Other than being playable in Crash Nitro Kart, Crash Tag Team Racing, and those Sphere levels in Crash N-Tranced, we never got to see Crunch be playable outside of racing or using the sphere thing. The other times we have seen him is when he's either getting brainwashed, or just left behind. It's kind of sad really. Dude needed more chances to ACTUALLY become playable so we could utilize how he uses his brute strength, and maybe biotic arm, in a fight against Cortex's henchmen, and get the character development and growth he rightfully deserves.

Outside of the Kart games, he is the only Bandicoot of the 3 you cannot play as in the games. Coco had her levels and Crash is the star, but no loved for Crunch sadly. And I do love Crash and Coco. But having Crunch levels would of been nice.

I really liked his character in the wrath of cortex, nitro cart, and tag team racing games. Some people may not like the wrath of cortex, but it has potential. I really hoped that they could have remade it to show how Crunch came out as a character. I got to admit that he was left out of the series of games. If they make another crash bandicoot game, they should reintroduce him to the new generation of gamers.

It's a shame they made him a glorified Mr T. Before he was gruff, buff, and generally a different character from Crash and Coco. But then it was all just "URGH! Pity the fool! URGH! Snickers! URGH! I hate planes!". Pretty sure they made him dumber too.

Crash of the titans had some of the worst character butchering in the series for sure, Coco was stupid and kind of annoying despite being a genius, Crash was.... dog like??? I mean Crash was never the brightest but he was never outright behaving like a dog, Aku-Aku was way more dramatic and sometimes helpless, when before he was a wise ancient being guiding Coco, Crash, and Crunch against his brother Uka-Uka. Really disappointing.
