I wish that Luigi`s Mansion had a global time limit ala Prince of Persia. Should it hit 0 !? 1. You get a horrible visage of King Boo finishing ritual. 2. Painting with Mario inside explodes into ludicrous gibs, bloodstained canvas rips and splinters. Luigi sees all that horror and is driven insane. 3. Beta scene showing distressed Luigi, following by oversized King Boo devouring him in single lick swipe, Lovecraftian style. 4. Peach receives letter from King Boo and also get really horrified. 5. Then we see the letter itself. It deplicts: "Mario and Luigi are DEAD! This is the terrible truth! King Boo." 6. Bowser, together with King Boo, succefully conquests now defendless Mushroom Kingdom, culminating with destruction of Peach`s Castle. 7. GAME OVER 8. KING BOO WINS 9. SAVE FILE DELETED 10. Last words are true.

I have to say, Mimi turning into her true form really scared me when I was younger. I recently did another playthrough of Super Paper Mario on my Wii, and it still scared me a bit when Mimi would pop up seemingly out of nowhere and chase me. Plus her snapping her neck though...... god Nintendo. The River Twgyz also disturbed the hell out of me, and to this day I still wonder how Super Paper Mario got an E for Everyone rating.

Well, Nintendo/Intelligent Systems forgetting about him isn't exactly true. in Super Paper Mario he started his own anime series called the Grodus Chronicles. but it does seem like nobody really likes Grodus that much. It's most likely because he gets completely upstaged by the Shadow Queen who is my favorite Paper Mario character and villain.

The Shadow Queen from TTYD would like to have a word with you. Princess Shroob, Count Bleck and Dimentio come pretty close but so far there hasn't been another Mario villain like the Shadow Queen who relishes in the suffering of others, has killed milions of people, is extremely violent, is obsessed with getting stronger and has actually ruled the world at one point. She is without a doubt the darkest and most evil Mario villain... and I love her for it.

ArielGLR. the difference with Dimentio is that he killed Mario, Luigi, Peach and Bowser in order to send them to the Underwhere to fix the Pure Heart they got from the Sammer's Kingdom which was erased at that time. Dimentio is the type of person to kill whenever someone is in his way and kill someone when they are no longer of use to him (similar to Doflamingo, a villain from One Piece)

Huh~ I might've thought you'd add in (1) the moment in Luigi's Mansion when if you stood in the right place, it looked like Luigi was being hanged in the attic, and (2) that time in Super Mario Galaxy when you could view those Hell Valley Trees (figures?) in the Shiverburn Galaxy. I know they're not scripted moments, but they were visible things (not hidden) players saw and have shared as disturbing moments in Mario games. Oh well ^^ at least I got to see some new ones here.
