You don't have to refer to the DK protagonist as "Jumpman," it's actually Mario. Jumpman was a never used prototype name, he's even refered to as Mario in scenes in the arcade sequel DKJr. And as Mario in the NES manual for DK. (And Mario appears on the boxart of "Donkey Kong Classics" for NES.) It's not a "retcon" either... Mario's creator Miyamoto even refers to DK as Mario's first appearance, and so does archival material in Smash Bros. and other official sources. I don't know how that rumor started that "Mario & Jumpman are different characters."

Yeah, there's the Guerrilla & Chained Kong enemies in Super Mario RPG, and one even throws barrels at Mario in Bowser's Keep. Also, Binks in "Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga" looks like DK, but was changed in the 3DS remake...

I think it's a solid entry in the Punch-Out series. Some people may prefer the original, but I appreciate the effort the devs put into the motion controls, they feel really good in this game! :)
