Man, I wish Sonic Team would add more reptile characters to the series. Espio and Vector are the only two we've got. Like, a frilled lizard or thorny lizard would make for a good antagonist. It'd be easy to turn either of those reptiles into a flashy _Sonic_ villain, since both species have physical traits that make them really stand out. I digress. Espio is cool, and it's too bad he isn't in more games as a playable character. Though, maybe that's a good thing, because it means he hasn't been ruined by poor writing like Shadow and Knuckles have.

Nintendo and Sega shoulda really considered making Espio more playable in the lineup of games that would've made him a character with wholesome potential to unearth. I came out to say Shadow is my all-time favorite character, but Espio honest and foretruly marks the emblem of being my pinnacle favorite in the history of Sega, even if he doesn't get as much spotlight to shine when he deserves it. I mean who wouldn't think a chamaleon mastering the martial arts of ninjutsu, studying the principles of meditation and philosophy, and could fit really well into being the voice of reason for equity and justice for all kind can be super cool?
