They were more original for the most part cause they weren’t all created by the community which is sadly all skins are since chapter 3. Fortnite has not released a skin made by their design team since 4 seasons now and I’m pondering if they even still have the team

​@PoloWunderkind What are you talking about. We haven't had a fan made skin since Chapter 4 season 3 that never got released because the creator of the skin was "not like us". Then during Winterfest last year we got a Boxy reskin and that was the last time we *technically* got a fan made skin

@PoloWunderkind No. Those were designed by Epic's content art team that are sent every now and then into surveys for to see which of those concepts skins could be turned into real skins in the future. Also note that not every skin Epic's content art team makes is featured in those surveys (ex. Zeus, Megalodon, most of Remix pass, all of OG pass and few more) and sometimes skin designs can get changed in the period of their translation to 3D models and while still being in the concept stage (ex. Aphrodite and Oscar)
