Earlier songs used to have a meaning and connectivity. Today only few songs have these qualities. Most are remakes❤❤

these days lots of songs r made every yr..nd some of them r really good..people too appreciate the songs wholeheartedly..but the craze nd the essence of the songs last for hardly 2-3 yrs...but old is no doubt gold..people still enjoy lata m.,asha b.,kishore k. nd m.rafi songs..in singing reality shows..contestants still prefer to sing old songs than new songs...those songs r literally evergreen...

I'm 16 and my playlist contains 1 song of 1930s, 7 songs of 1950s, 5 songs of 1960s, few songs of 1970s and just 2 songs of 80s and 1 song of 90s. Kishore Kumar, Md Rafi and Mukesh are my favourite singers. Btw, the singer KL Saigal was an inspiration to most of the post independence singers like Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Md Rafi and Mukesh. Badan Pe Sitare Lapete is my most favourite song sung by Md Rafi and picturised on Shammi Kapoor

8:14 The beauty of 90s evergreen era. The moment QSQT dropped with "Ae mere humsafar" you can tell Anand Milind was going to change the game, along with future producers such as Nadeem, Shravan and Anu malik. The change of melody from 1988 even with the song from tridev "main tere mohabbat" you can hear the classic 90s sounds of melody. Also lets not forget Udits debut and soon to follow up with Kumar Sanu and Alka yagnik
@cricketer50533 жыл бұрын
You do realise that 90s Indian song style is basically 80s American inspired since India is usually 10 years behind in music
@animebloodsamples3 жыл бұрын
@@cricketer5053 what are you talking about? in the exception of influenced songs that were inspired by U.S. & UK 80s/90s songd and even sometimes copied the Evergreen hits are a different style of music. You dont understand how the style has shifted from the 1930s style of folk singing to a melodious drunk harmony that hypnotised and captivated the entire era. Kishore, Rafi, Lata ji all made exceptional songs and hits. But 90s songs hit our hearts differently. It pierced love in the air! Theres a reason why the 90s era is labeled evergreen. Music adpats and evolves universally

As expected the legendary Kishore Kumar has most iconic songs in the list also its very hard to pick a song pre 90s as there were so many outstanding songs in a year eg 1951 it was Awara hoon which was a global sensation all over asia europe
