Hip hop peaked between 1992 and 1996. In that timeframe you had Tupac and Biggie at their peaks, The Chronic, Illmatic, Wu Tang and all their individual debuts (Liquid Swords, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx etc), Reasonable Doubt by Jay Z. Big L was still alive, Easy E too until '95. So many classics came out in that timeframe.
