He’s loud. That’s it. Sure the origin story in Arkham knight at least is that he accidentally turned himself into a bat human hybrid. But he’s not even like good at fighting and there is no challenge to especially in the lego games

@@buyo3475 a villain being a good character is about more than just their fighting skills. he’s a different and interesting villain. mainly because Kirk doesn’t condone the actions ManBat partakes in when he’s in control. Kirk is a sane and civilized human being but ManBat is an animal. his motive was never to turn into a man sized bat. he wanted to find a cure to deafness. which is a reasonable goal. basing a character only on their skills going toe to toe means ur now leaving out like 95% of that character as a whole. that’s like saying Riddler sucks because he isn’t a great fighter. he’s one of the most popular Batman villains and he is a more intellectual type of villain. but there’s more to his character than fighting isn’t there? same can be said about ManBat. like ManBat would make a great Batman villain in a movie (especially with a slight horror aspect to the movie). the issue with Batman’s rogue gallery and especially over the recent years w games and movies is Joker is almost always their. i get hes popular but he’s also overused now. if they gave more of the underrated villains a chance people would probably enjoy them just as much as Joker. saying ManBat is just “loud” and that’s it is like saying Bane is strong. it’s a vague explanation and kind of a downplay on the character. just my opinion

I love how in Lego Batman the video game usually the bosses let you get one hit max (maybe 2 if your pushing it) and then they jump away but no the giant human with bat dna and wings decides “I’m gonna let them beat the living shit out of me and then walk away while they try to attack me still. Oh you think I should fly away why would I do that it’s not like i could just fly away and not get destroyed by these juggernauts that don’t die”
