Another RPG logic: When they aren’t in their place when they’re dead, Mario or Luigi (In function who’s still alive) is spinning until he’s in his place, except if he was taking his brother. Paper Mario also do that in Paper Jam.

I love how in the Mario & Luigi series, when a brother(In the video, Luigi) is dead, the other one(It’s Mario in the video.)is picking up him when it’s the enemies’ turns. I also love when the brother still alive screams the brother’s name.

And then in Paper Jam, although Paper Mario doesn’t pick up either of them, he still panics when one dies and freaks out when both are down. Same can be seen by Mario and Luigi reacting to Paper Mario being down and then straight up freaks out when they’re the last one standing. It’s a nice little detail imo

You know what’s really ironic? Super Paper Mario, famously the darkest Mario RPG to ever exist…ends up actually having the LEAST dark Game Over screen out of all the Paper Mario games. Most of the others show Mario dying/dead or at least unconscious, but SPM just recreates the classic platformer scene with the protagonist comically falling offscreen and the usual lighthearted game over jingle. To be fair, it does make sense considering Super is a hybrid between the platformers and the RPGs, but it’s still ironic, what with it’s reputation.

YES! The only real downside is the extended tutorials. It took all the great aspects of Bowser's Inside Story, and expanded on them. It made the previous 3 games feel like one big world, since it had so many references to them, and at the same time introduced its own original concepts. It's also the longest one of all 5, and that's not due to the tutorials. The graphics of this game, especially the dream world, is phenomenal and don't get me started on the music. The character development of Starlow, Bowser and especially Luigi is amazing. I can see why Bowser's Inside Story is preferred by some, but the fan favourite? I feel like Dream Team is being robbed. Most view it as a mediocre game, and the worst in the series excluding Paper Jam. I can never understand their reasoning. It's like they forget all the great aspects of Dream Team, and focus on the few negatives.
