The M6GT was never released as the founder of mclaren died before it was built, eight years later the new owner of mclaren created the f1. Fun fact: the MP4-12C (now just known as the 12C) was the first commercial McLaren fully designed and built by Mclaren!

yes indeed, quite a few actually if you consider that level of difference as missing. E. g. 570GT, 650s canam. Even if one doesn't think those and the 540c aren different enough from the 'standard' model to warrant inclusion I'd say the 620R certainly is. And this is before we go into the GT3/4 variants of the road cars (which video dev obviously thought was worthy of some models and not others).

Speedtail's top speed is not 205mph, it is 250 mph. It is electrically limited to "250"mph although it is said to go even faster.

McLarens may look almost exactly the same but you can't change a formula that works so much.

Actually you probably noticed all the major manufacturers do it. It's not being lazy, it's from studying human psychology and association. There has to be some sort of brand or range DNA. I mean if we think McLarens are bad(or good?) at this looks no further than Porsche. Once in a while, it does change , but usually before such a change, you need to release the change on a halo car. (That is allowed to be completely distinct). Then the lower ranges can take cues from it here and there.

McLaren adapted a naming system in 2011, 3 numbers followed by either 1 or two letters(this is for the majority of McLarens since 2011). The letter "C" stands for club, the letter "S" stands for sport, the letters "LT" stand for longtail and the letters "GT" stand for grand tour. Hope this helps👍

No just McLaren Mercedes SLR. It is a collaboration car. McLaren then had the means to build it's solo cars once again starting from Mp4 which use mercedes engines.

McLaren has been a racing team since the early 60s. Bruce McLaren wanted to start selling road cars, and designed the M6GT as "the ultimate road car". Bruce was killed in 1970, and only 4 cars were made.

@@jamesflores6798 Yeah, Motorsport cars of the 60s looked like that. The M6GT is more or less a coupe version of McLaren's Can-Am car called the M6A.

Wow I couldn’t never imagine that futuristic design. Incredible, I could confirm your info. Really the best designs were on that season, porche panamera, Renault Dinalpin 1968, mustang gt.
