ATTENTION FORTNITE FANS! Midas might come back next season and I have proof !: 1) In the Marigold quests, one of the things she can say after you complete theme is "survive the invasion alright ? I've got plans for you" meaning she has a plan. 2) If you talk to Marigold as Midas, she says it's happening soon and if you talk to her as Jules she says to stick to the plan. This means that they are plotting something, possibly next season. 3) In the Fortnite news window for when Midsummer Midas came out, the description read "It's his first time on the beach since... The incident." Meaning that Midas is back on the island and laying low with Jules.

Timeline: (my fan thing) Ch 2 season 2: planned on escaping the loop Ch 2 season 3: failed to escape and was killed by a shark, but fade (he has sorcery powers) resurrected midas(shadow midas) and laid low until the avengers showed up. Ch 2 season 4: set out revenge for a few weeks but runs out of power and lays low again. Ch 2 season 5: while IO was out there he planned on staying hidden, joker gives him a suit that makes him Normal again (made by Lex Luthor) and helps set bombs. Ch 2 season 6: no sign of him yet but his relative(not sure how related) marigold is heisting in a primal land. Ch 2 season 7 (updating): decided to spend a summer with Jules , it would appear he's back to normal. IO was coming so he only stayed 14 days. If you guys are asking about the loop and shit let's just say every important character won a game and is trapped on the island like renagade raider, batman, cat woman, deathstroke ect. (Batman comics) and I plan on writing a show.

So before chapter 1 season one began, Midas and Marigold entered the loop to test it because IO wanted to see how well the loop went. After they tested the loop for a couple of times they left the loo. They also left there snapshots behind. So the snapshots of Midas and Marigold were stuck in the loop for centuries. As we know time works very different in the loop. Bunker Jonesy is proof. It says that he is trapped inside of the loop for centuries meaning that he got inside of the loop centuries ago. But we see that the original Jonesy (John Jones) hasnt changed that much and still looks pretty young. So this is a tricky part. It depends on when Oro got the Golden Touch when he was alive or after death. So lets say for now that Oro got the Golden Touch when he was alive. Midas and Marigold both got cursed with the golden touch because of the sun (Sol's Curse). After that they somehow died because they were in a early version of the loop. "bUt yOu cAnT dIe iNsIdE oF tHE lOoP". I know maybe in the early version you actually died but Midas and Marigold became undead because of Sol's Curse. After that Midas and Marigold, now Oro and Orelia went into a deep slumber. So now lets switch back to the "original" Midas. He was loyal to IO for the longest time untill the Order betrayed him or vice versa. The Order put him inside of the loop near the end of Chapter 2 season 1. So this where it gets weird again. Do you guys think that Oro gave the golden touch to Midas or do you think that Midas stole the Midas Touch from Oro? Let me know. But he tracked down Oro and took/got the scepter and the golden touch from Oro. In Season 2 more IO Agents entered the loop. Those Agents were: Skye, TNTina, Maya, Agent Peely, Tek, Maya and Brutus. Midas' plan was to break everyone out of the loop and he needed the golden touch for it so together with his daughter they made a device to push away the storm. The plan failed again.

It seems they don't, that they are victims of it, possibly a different form of the curse, granting them everlasting life but turning their bones to gold and striping their flesh instead of granting a power like Midas and Marigol, maybe through how they worded their greedy desire for gold to whatever type of entity Sol is, I know it means Sun, but maybe this is a being we will see or hear of more later on, maybe Midas and Oro (Marigold and Orelia) are the same person, just different timelines or snapshots, I suppose any theory is possible but that is why I would love Epic to actually give us some answers, and I know people think Midas is Cyclo, just in a Storm Suit that maybe Jules made for him but, yeah, I would love some confirmation there as well

Midas being Oro is a very difficult and intresting theory to solve because there is proof for both sides proof of them being the same is: When Oro came to the item shop for the second time back in april last year the news tab said: "the golden rises again and swoops in to exact revenge" -Midas' Revenge set And in Fortnitemares last year Oro came back and fortnite tweeted this: "The Fallen King is back for revenge" -Midas' Revenge. (twitter.com/FortniteGame/status/1319428322695151616?s=19) Midas' Revenge means Midas his Revenge. Then we have Midas Rex. Its basically Midas in Oro's suit. And Midas Rex means King Midas in latin and Oro is Fortnite's version of King Midas. Also Midas Rex's backbling is called Midas Crest and the description is "a Mantle of The Fallen King". And Fortnite called Oro The Fallen King during Fortnitemares: Midas' Revenge. Now proof on why Midas and Oro may not be the same person. When Oro awakened for the first time it said "King Oro has awoken, harness his power and get revenge now" -Midas' Revenge set. Then we have the Skeleton King Oro style without gold and Midas has Oro's scepter. This doesnt debunk it if my theory is true.
