As much as I like the game, I’m not afraid to admit Ultimate Ninja 2 had the worst version of Nine Tailed Naruto. Like his clothes were colored wrong, his moveset is just a call back to base form Naruto in Ultimate Ninja 1, and his ultimate jutsu’s are the same as they were in base form. They could’ve easily did to Naruto what they did with Sealed Orochimaru in terms of just giving him a aura and a boost.

I agree but to be fair…at this point in the story they didn’t have much to go off of when they created Naruto’s ultimates for that game or the previous game. Ultimate ninja 2 at least tried to make kyuubi naruto feel somewhat different from the first ultimate ninja game so we gotta at least give them credit for that

@@kingzuna8007 Sorry I got this so late. But i can’t really give ‘em credit for their attempt to make Nine Tailed Naruto different from ultimate ninja 1. For the simple reason that that is exactly the problem. Because in their attempt to create a version that feels different from the U.N 1’s, they produced an inferior counterpart. One who has a moveset that is recycled from Base Naruto in U.N.1, that and the standard color scheme he has is an alternative color scheme from Base Naruto in U.N.1’s. All and all, if they were just gonna recycle stuff from U.N.1, why not just recycle U.N.1 Nine Tailed Naruto’s moveset? That and his original color scheme. I get what you mean, but them having little to go off of and trying to make Nine Tailed Naruto unique doesn’t excuse how terrible this Naruto is. They could’ve given that red Rasengan ultimate to Nine Tailed Naruto is U.N 2 and do what 1 did in terms of that Naruto only having 1 set of ultimate attacks. Two of them being the punches he does, then 3rd one being the red Rasengan. Would’ve made much more sense honestly.

When you think about it, there really wasn't much to go off of from Part 1 Nine tailed Naruto, only because the appearance of him was scarce and didn't have as much huge moments for the game developers to go off of for his moveset Vs Haku: Showed off how much more powerful and faster Nine tailed Naruto was compared to Haku Vs (face stolen)Orochimaru: the only thing note worthy was stopping a snake dead in it's tracks. Vs Neji: barely got a hit in after getting dogged walked on Vs Garra: Loses the Charka the moment Garra catches him Vs Kisame: loses the Chakra after kisame swipes it away with his sword Vs Kimimaro: does the exact same thing he would of done without the nine tails Amp Vs Sasuke: All out fight. The only major fights here were against Haku and Sasuke. All the other fights where Kyuubi Chakra Naruto appears don't have as much huge moments or not worthwhile to talk about. At that point you either have to get Nined Tailed Part 1 Naruto custom moves or rely on Filler/OVA/Movies

Especially when they had much less to go off of in Ultimate Ninja but still somehow managed to implement him into the game. There’s no excuse for this terrible attempt at it in Ultimate Ninja 2. His moveset is a literal call back to U.N.
