It's most likely since Piano has only one kind of sound(excluding keyboards and synths) while other intruments have different tones like Guitar which has many techniques that do not sound classical e.g. strumming, tapping.

His life was really sad. He was a physically weak person, he witnessed the death of his mother, sister and grandma when he was a teenager, because of tisis, which was the disease of the time. He had a strong love for his country and was a big patriot and he was forced to leave his homeland due to revolution war, but even with all of that on his back, his music was of all colors. But yes, most of it was sadness and desperation.
