I had the opportunity to speak at WADLA (Workshop on Advances in Deep Learning and Applications) organized by IIIT Sricity. My talk centered around modern-day scalable recommendation systems, highlighting how deep learning models play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of recommendation systems.
We began by exploring the evolution of recommendation systems, both in terms of their appearance and algorithmic advancements. The session delved into the recommendation strategies employed by three major industry giants: Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest. The presentation was highly interactive, with the audience posing interesting questions.
