Fun fact : Rimworld was originally called Eclipse Colony and it was initially released as a Kickstarter crowdfunding project in early access for Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux in November 2013

I still remember that I watched videos between 2018-2019 about this and I was so impressed to the point that I said "This is a Remake of Dwarf Fortress" because 1 or 2 years before I had tried the aforementioned game and I had a lot of fun, it wasn't until I downloaded the game like in 2020 through illegal means because I was very curious, more than anything, about the very unethical and moral things you could do and... Well, I ended up very addicted to the game to the point that I stopped playing with many of them. my friends because I loved doing anything in the game and that added to the fact that I discovered the developer mode. My first colony was 3 people, two men and a woman, i began to make my colony in a somewhat mountainous temperate forest. And am I telling you the truth? I had no idea what I had to do, there I was with no idea what to do, how do I do this I simply went through the tutorial like a champ and jumped right into the game. In a matter of a few hours I had already learned the basics, now it was time to do the most difficult thing, surviving. I'm going to skip the rest of the things, I'll just say that I almost lost the colony after discovering an ancient site with mechanoids, so let's move on to the important thing, in a matter of 2 and a half years I managed to create a somewhat decent colony with 3 other new colonists and some other mission that could fulfill the big mistake he had made was not developing weapons with a gas function since he continued with the same weapons of the assailants he killed, bows, knives and the occasional bolt-action rifle (besides the fact that all The weapons were from Horrible to Mediocre in terms of quality) a group of 10 Assailants from a cannibal pirate faction attacked me and in the first minutes I managed to slow them down and to a certain point I almost won if not... 2 Mental crises of the only colonists who they had better aim and melee combat so you already know what happened in the end. I lost 5 colonists and the last one ended up dying from an infection after 9 agonizing days in which he had an arm that was already on its last legs, burned along with the fact that he was without a leg but at least I killed 4 of the assailants.
