If you’re a true spiderman game fan, i honestly recommend playing “spider-man” from 2000. It came out on PlayStation and is literally a masterpiece. The fact that venom and carnage we’re both involved in that game speaks volumes. So underrated

In my opinion, the very latest in 2018 on the ps4 to the new one with Miles and Peter teaming together released this year, is perfection…. My personal favourite is Miles Morales solo game, that one was brilliant, But my number 1 favourite will always be Ultimate Spider-Man from ‘05…. That was a very brilliant game…… I can’t say enough about the 2005 release of Ultimate Spider-Man, fantastic gameplay, pretty solid story, animation and overall visual presentation was top notch and ahead of its time, 9.5/10 Absolute gold

First time i played the Spiderman game in my life was the 2000 version when i was a little kid. Man the nostalgia hit hard. I spent many days playing it and just imagining myself in the place of Spiderman 😊😊.

I just hope that Spider-Man 2 for PS5 has shown other game developers what fans really want from a superhero game or any game, really. A good story while keeping the gameplay fantastic and the controls/difficulty adjustable for all gamers with different skill levels. Every superhero game needs to be open world because that's what gamers want when they have superpowers. Batman Arkham City is already a great example, and that's a decade older.

Today's generation who've played the PS4/PS5 Spider-Man games will never get to experience those older gems like Spider-Man 1 & 2 on the original Playstation, Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man 1 & 2 and Ultimate on the PS2, and Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man 3 on the Xbox 360/PS3. I get that those current Spider-Man games are very enjoyable but you cannot beat the old games I mentioned in terms of quality and replay value.
