I'm glad you left the baby talking/crying in there. I heard a phrase in regards to babies in churches one time that stuck with me: "A church without crying, is a church that is dying." We have to pass it on to the next generation. Great compilation as always.

The pastor of my old church used to say the same thing about kids. The church had been in a state of steady decline for decades, and it had been years since there had been any babies crying in that building. Hearing children crying was a turning point in the church's recovery.
@wolfman7284 Жыл бұрын
@@heiditaylor6206 So I don't mislead anyone on accident. There is a difference between a baby being left to cry and cry and distracting from the sermon. But people should not get annoyed at a baby being heard when the mother or father is trying to take care of him/her. If the baby can't be quieted, then they can move to a care area, hallway, etc. But if you don't hear that crying, you have a generation missing in the church.

Love the kids!! For all of you that this only brings back memories of a distant past, may we all be working with kids. We are never too old or too important (in our mind, at least) to be spending time singing with and teaching kids. I totally agree with Wolfman's comments to the affect that «A church without babies crying, is a church that is dying.» Sunday I visited my dear sister, Eloisa Echeverría, who will be 90 this year. It is easy to see that her children, grandkids, greats, etc greatly respect and adore her. They gathered around on her porch and listened to us talk and prayed together with us. Affect the lives for Christ of the kids whether they're yours or someone else's.

I’ve been to Sunday school, and I’ve only heard a fraction of these! Some of them, like the C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N song, I sang at Bible-based summer camps. I may be biased towards the original style, so Jesus Loves Me or The Lord's Army might be my favorite arrangements, but that might also be because I heard them in the clips that you released. Great job, and God bless your ministry! Keep it up! Also, I know you can’t really tell us what the oldest song is, but I kind of wonder which one is the newest one, since you said in your email that most if not all of these songs pre-date 1971.
