You forgot the different animations Mario does after collecting a power moon. He can get a power moon with the same animation as Super Mario 64 Mario, Super Mario Sunshine Mario, and Super Mario Galaxy Mario when they get a star or a shine.

furrtzen mistofi Mario never collects a shine in Super Mario Odyssey. When Mario collects a Power Moon, he can do the same animation of collecting a shine in Super Mario Sunshine . The same goes for Mario collecting a star in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy. Example: When Mario collects a Power Moon in Super Mario Odyssey he can do the peace sign with his fingers(✌🏼). Mario does that same animation in Super Mario 64 when he collects a Star.
