I still believe the blue/white RGV250M is the best looking bike built to date.

Agree the M with its banana swingarm, introduction of upside down forks and tandam twin right side was the best looking of the series, but in the Red & White Lucky Strike GP replica livery to my eye. But yes, the conservative Suzuki blue and white that presented with the M as well was one of the nicer traditional schemes in the series. I have the T in its final scheme with the all Suzuki blue tank. I like them both and truth be told if I had to choose between them, It's be a tough call. But I was saved that decision. A little more radical, but tastefully so without the garish pink and yellow SAPC decal.

I wanted one of these badly.. but when I saw the Aprillia RS 250. Enough said 👍😁 6 months on the Road, then I turned her into a Race_ bike / track day weapon... I still own the Bike 25yrs on 👍

I can't believe I owned one from brand new at the time. It had "made with the grand prix spirit" on it. Wish I had it now!

I had the 1990 RGV250SP, I've made a lot of stupid mistakes in my life, selling that bike was the biggest one :)

at 1.59 the 1987 RG250 was a parallel twin not a V-twin,at 3.31 the 1993 model engine wasnt upgraded from 90 degrees to 70 degrees it changed to a 70 degree v- twin in 1996 which was a VJ23,the VJ21 & VJ22 had the 90 degree engine through its production range

pretty sure first that the later pv mk 3 rg,s we’re all the same bhp (45) until the rgv vj21 which was 50 bhp but heavier than the rg. Then came vj22 which was 60ish bhp, not convinced vj23 could be 67bhp as the kr1s still holds the production 250 speed record and is only 60 bhp

The RGV was a beauty. £4,200. From Faulkners motorcycles in Oxford. They’re long gone… I bought an RD350ypvs for £1400….😂

I sold my 350lc picked up a brand new RGV in original Pepsi colours (uk bike) it was 1989 .. if I could turn back time and have that bike again I’d be that same 19yr old without a care 😊

@@gw2891 I was 19. Couldn’t afford the RGV. The RD was a brilliant piece of kit. Ruined many a pair of jeans due to leaky power valve seals😁. I ride a Kawasaki ZX7R now which takes me back to my hooligan days. Nothing quite like it to make you feel alive.

I’m 20 and considering having one as a sort of pamper bike. Something I can spend weekends cleaning and maintaining and only riding occasionally on group rides. Would they be ideal for this?
