the flags before 1862 are totally wrong. Acient China has no national flag(or navigation flag) since Song. And the flag of Song and Yuan is yellow background red sun flag. That mongol flag from where ?i never found it. Ming dynasty is Blue background, red star, white moon, yellow sun flag. Qing dynasty, used the loong flag and yellow background red sun flag together. The flags of most Asian countries are related to the sun, which evolved from the navigation flag of ancient China. Especially the Japanese flag, it directly changed the background color of the navigation flag of the Song Dynasty in China from yellow to white as its own flag. After the defeat of the Qing Dynasty in the First Sino Japanese War, the Qing government no longer used the yellow Sun Flag as its national flag.
