This is perfect timing, ive just decased a gopro 6 (took long enough to find one!) and waiting on the Beta95X V2. Hoping to use it for an interior shoot for a 150,000 sq ft space but the range/mount issues with the crossfire antenna is something I hadn't heard of until now! Super helpful

Minimortal T v2 is fabulous- tested it down to 250m on 150hz lock. No issues (that’s in the middle of vienna so about 50 WiFi in the area and other signals like automatic garage doors) In dynamic I went to 350m same location signal was 99 - so I can expect about 2km out in the open field

Get rid of all this Hero 6 nonsense and decase a Hero 8 - its own inner aluminium case is decent protection and has built-in mounting feet so you can still use it anywhere you would use a normal GoPro. I've flown it on everything from 85/95x to a 7" quad chasing mountain bikes through a forest and crashing 800g+ AUW into trees and it didn't give up. Front screen which lets you see the full status and tweak most important settings sits snuggly inside the aluminium case and can be replaced easily and cheaply if you do break it. The only issue was buttons kinda needed to be glued in place, but these days both BetaFPV and NLRC have Hero 8 versions of that BEC board with buttons. NLRC even has a full case but I'd stick with GoPro's alu one for the reasons mentioned... I'm still under 250g on my 95x/umma95x custom build. even with the big TBS glass ND filters and everything.

Nice review dude! Just got my 95x v2 and had a shitty time getting my decased 6 to work but shes flying now and yeah, i dont dig the crossfire just taped to the ducts. Will change for sure.

Cinewhoops are cool.we have a lot of kwads the kids donated that the kids fly and they are pretty noisy but wow these cinewhoops beat all for noise lol.great video sync as always brother.stay safe my friend.

There's some dvr and some from gopro, the bumblebee is the dji fpv goggles, in fact, they all are using the regular dji stuff except the 85x at the end which is analog

Agrée, go pro needs too make light weight version, like session 6 with at least hero 6 black quality (and removable battery that would be a part of the case - like mavic battery, so that no weight is waisted if you need it saved up) in wider range to be safe 4-7v for example. So that we can power it with good bec and not worry about v5 voltage spike of up to 0.5v that betaFPV board gives up on power up
