Looking at the Dark Revival Ink Demon, there's sort of a Hulk-ish dynamic here. He's stuck as Bendy so long as he's calm or suppressed but becomes the Ink Demon under stress or free from the effects of the beacons.

That was the reason it was changed. He moved slow asf during Ink Machine Chapter 3, do you really wanna sit in a hiding spot of 10 minutes and wait for him to just leave the area? Having him give you a warning and then killing you if you don't hide lets you get right back to playing the game instead of waiting forever for him to walk by, then getting to play the game again.

I’m glad that they made Beast Bendy playable in BATDR, it’s a fresh idea, and personally I think it’s better than making Beast Bendy as the final boss in Audrey’s story, since we already had the Shipahoy Dudley

I sort of agree. I think that it was very creative to have the final boss be playable, but some of it felt really cheesy and silly. Like when Audrey suddenly gets the ability to take over the actual devil himself through sheer determination alone just because Joey, whom she only met that same day, died to him. Also when Allison, Tom, Sammy, and Henry came in, it felt really silly and completely took away the tension of the moment. I still like Henry's fight better because it's just him and Bendy. It's a golden, cinematic showdown between a man and his greatest creation as well as his greatest failure. Audrey's fight COULD have been a showdown between a broken woman and her dark origins, overcoming a past that she didn't know she had, but instead it went down the "power of friendship" path. Another thing is that Bendy and the Ink Machine takes place over the course of a week at a minimum. It's unknown how long Henry stayed in Boris's safehouse for and how long Tom and Allison held him in captivity, but there is reason to believe that days, maybe even weeks have passed. Months might be stretching it a bit, but the point is, Henry spent time down in the Studio before facing Bendy, so it felt all the more cinematic because of that. Audrey's adventure takes place not just in one day, but in a few hours. So the final fight doesn't feel anywhere close to as cool because of that. It's not the same. So, overall I halfway agree. There is no question that it was very creative of theMeatly and the rest of JDS to make the final fight the way they made it, but it wasn't executed perfectly. I just hope The Cage doesn't repeat that same mistake.

I mean, when i saw the first one i was like "oh, that's pretty cool, he seems pretty powerful" but then when he was against Shipahoy i just- like- held my breath. v.1.3.0 is my favorite, he looks like an actual failed attempt at creating Bendy, and I loved how his run cycle had 3 different animations that switched at random, so there was more variety to his run. The new models don't at all look like failed attempts, they look like someone deliberately made them like that, because theirs no way things like spikey spines or rib cages were part of the design Also I hate how on mobile instead of walls around Bendy being inky, your screen just gets more ink covered the closer he gets, the ink just completely covers your screen and blinds you by the time Bendy is 10 feet away.

If his AI were able to recognize when you are running loops between the railings to gain distance from him, he would stop and change direction to cut you off, blocking the stairs entirely. I was so excited for this game to drop, and the gameplay was amazing, but I couldn't help but be slightly disappointed with the ending. I don't exactly know what I expected from this game ending-wise, but it definitely wasn't Audrey and the Ink Demon merging into a giant, inky, bodybuilder and rampaging through a sea of lost souls. It just felt a little silly, and not really horror-themed. Great game, otherwise 😄

What I think would make the final scene scarier is if Audrey got “kicked out” of the beast after taking enough hits from lost ones and you need to survive and weaken the ink demon enough to merge back with him, that would be suspenseful but probably hard to program. Your theory is actually mostly true bendy actually wasn't evil at first but Joey was unhappy with how he turned out so Joey trapped bendy in the ink world studio thing were he went insane from abandonment and basically turned into an emotionless animal and henry also seeing him as a monster was the final straw but bendy still has some moments were he has more control of himself but for most of the games he's basically an animal who doesn't think and only kills and in chapter five he fully breaks and that's why he turned into beast bendy and in between the events of batim and batdr he developed a sort of split personality disorder of sorts in which he switched from what he was before being trapped in the studio and being able to control himself and his anger when he's in cartoon form to a more sadistic and evil version of what he turned into when he's in ink demon form, probably by being experimented on by wilson

I wanna tell you a cool fact: When batdr didnt come out, I wanted to download boris and the dark revival but accidentally searched "bendy" instead of "boris" And then after some years batdr came out i was so excited when this came out! Batdr is a very good game
