The one thing I didn’t like about his Amazing Spiderman was the fact that he didn’t have a snout. He just looks really weird he looks more like a guy with green skin then an actual lizard man. But at least the animal mannerisms are down. 👍

Many wanted the lizard snout, but I can understand why they excluded it. It would be pretty difficult to motion capture the actors face on a non-human face, so they had to make a compromise. What 'I' wished they had done instead was keep the Lizard's shredded lab coat outfit, and not Just be a 'nude' lizardman.

I kind if liked how they didn't give him a snout, because it makes him look like more of a horror movie monster. That said, I wish they'd kept the shredded lab coat (but, in their defense, that might have been too hard to animate).

I prefer the dinosauroid, lizard head, snout look than the humanoid reptile hybrid look. Amazing Spider-Man Lizard just looked too human, whereas the Lizard is suppose to be an animalistic beast.

Lizard versions in order from best to worst (my opinion): The Spectacular Spiderman (best sounds, probably one of the best designs) The Amazing Spiderman (pretty good theme, cool appearance, could be more lizard like and less humanoid but still good) Ultimate Spiderman (great voice, great appearance) Marvel Disk Wars (looks good as well) Marvel’s Spiderman (pretty good) Spiderman 1994 (great design, not very good sounds) Spiderman: The New Animated Series (cool appearance, mediocre animation) Spiderman 1980’s (Voice does not fit at all and appearance is not very scary) Spiderman 1967 (honestly I think it looks terrible)

After watching a video by Godzilla Mendoza about The Lizard and his inconsistent character, I decided to make a story of my own. The Story of The Lizard: (Feel free to post constructive criticism in the replies.) Dr. Curt Connors, a geneticist with a hobby of anthropology, had fallen into depression, since he recently contracted an incurable degenerative disease that has destroyed his body and binded him to a wheelchair. He then makes and uses the lizard serum in order to regenerate his body. After a week of success, the side effects kick in and he turns into The Lizard for the first and last time, right in front of his family, which scars them for life. He runs away and hides out in the sewers for a few days before getting the idea to reverse the transformation. He stole lab equipment which catches the eye of Spider-Man. Spider-Man tracks down The Lizard and they fight in the sewers, the fight destroys all of Lizard's progress and puts him right back to square one. Lizard is reasonably devastated and swears to kill the wall crawler. Spider-Man researches The Lizard after locking him up in The Raft and decides to try and make a cure from one of Lizard's scales that were found in the sewers. While in prison, The Lizard is recruited into the Sinister Six, an upcoming gang of supervillains comprised of Rhino, Doc Ock, Scorpion, Kraven the Hunter, Green Goblin, and now The Lizard. The Sinister Six break out of The Raft and pay a visit to Spider-Man. Spider-Man and the Sister Six fight all over New York. Spider-Man then flees to a warehouse, hoping to incapacitate at least one of the six with a trap, Dr Octopus expected this strategy, so he sends Lizard to face Spider-Man alone to make a distraction while the others surround the warehouse. The Lizard dodges Spider-Man's trap and they fight, in the brawl, Lizard tears Peter's mask off. Lizard is shocked to see that Spider-Man was just a few years older than his own son, and all this time, he wanted to kill a boy in his late-teens. The Lizard has a change of heart and stops fighting, he promises to keep Spider-Man's identity a secret. Lizard then turns on the other villains and allows Spider-Man to escape. He tears off one of Doc Ock's arms, breaks Kraven's spear, and blunts Rhino's horn before escaping back into the sewers. After a few months, the other supervillains are back in prison, Spider-Man tracks down The Lizard again and offers the antidote. Lizard takes the antidote and nothing happens, Conners has been Lizard for so long, the transformation has become permanent. Lizard is distraught and having no other option, decides to visit his family. When he gets there, he discovers his wife has married another man, he slinks up a wall to his son's room and sees he is nowhere to be found. He snoops around and discovers a brochure for summer camp, along with an envelope in a box under the bed. It's a note addressed to him, it reads "Mom doesn't believe me, but I still think your my dad." He sits on the bed, reading it and rereading it, he wipes his tears and leaves with the note. Years later, The Lizard stowed away on a boat to India, but gets chased off the boat and into the sea. He swims to a nearby island that is home to a remote tribe. He builds himself a treehouse on the island, where no one will bother him. He passes the time by exploring the remote rainforest and researching the people. He somewhat builds a repport with the Islanders and they see him as a mythological figure. He resigns himself to the roll of a mythological guardian of the island tribe, he wishes he could meet his family again, but he doesn't believe it to be possible for him to be accepted.

When I make my own Spider-Man series, Connors will instead be a salamander-lizard hybrid. The reason for that being is realism. Real lizards can only regrow their tails, with it being deformed at that. Salamanders, on the other hand, actually CAN regrow limbs. So Connors will be engaging in cross-species genetics, with his cellular regeneration research and lizard formula being a combination of lizard AND salamander DNA. With that in mind, he will instead be called... "The Lizard-Mander."
